<DIV>Has anyone else been having problems with this lately?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I have a level 57 coercer, I have the spell at Master I, even with groups of mobs that are well below my level I almost never seem too be able to mez the max of 4 mobs when I use the spell, and the mobs that do get mezzed break well before the max duration.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Even when I'm soloing and have control over attacks made against the mobs I don't generally get 4 mobs mezzed and they still break well before the max duration.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Solo mez that isn't at Master I works much better for me.</DIV>

If they are getting hit by AOE damage or any other damage, that does have a chance to break the AOE mez. If I use my AOE mez, then my AOE dot, likely all would break the AOE mez. <div></div>

This is just a theory on what may be going wrong for you... Because our encounter mez is has a range on it, you need to cast it on a mob that is central of the encounter to be able to hit the majority of the encounter. Some encounters are spread out far enough that hitting the middle mob for pulling isnt a guarantee for mezzing them all, and perhaps in your situation you are getting one of the side mobs. Using your table key to cycle targets before mezzing can help alleviate this problem (Dont do this in high populated areas tho as it will mess up your stuff) - clicking with mouse is best. Hope that helps out other chanters who are having similar issues. <div></div>

<P>I'm not casting any damage on mobs other than direct damage on the 1 (or more) that don't get mezed and I've waited until the mobs are completely on top of me in testing - same results.</P> <P> </P> <P>If it isn't happening to anyone else then its most likely that I've been "getting lucky" with my results.</P>
Duration on AE mez has been drastically reduced in general some time back. Depending on your lvl you hardly will be able to remez before the spell expires. Dunno if this is the problem you are facing, just one more possibility i wanted to mention.

<P>They have to be mezzed period before the duration on the mez can expire.</P> <P> </P> <P>My comment is that I very rarely get the max of 4 to be mezzed period.</P> <P> </P> <P>I get far more resists from mobs using the Master I (Breathtaking Awe) than I do with Mindbend (at Adept I). Mindbend relatively rarely gets resisted even on mobs that are above my level while Awe get resisted at least 1 out of 4 on groups that size even for mobs below my level.</P> <P> </P> <P>As I said in my last post though, since no one else is noticing it I'm probably just getting "lucky" in my attempts with Awe.</P>
