I use a Hardened Metallic Adornment with 11 int + 48 power , 37 tick in combat health regen. can be worn on wrist or neck. Thats probably the best "mage specific" uber item I have. I use a lot of other misc. masters and stuff. with high + power or whatever. feel free to check my profile if you're curious what i wear.

Am I the only person that thinks the Robe of the Beguiler is the best robe for an enchanter? This thing was made for an enchanter and our increased aggro...especially a coercer who is .. dont laugh.. charming mobs.

i have the hardened metalic dornment it is 31hp / tick regen, extreamly nice, free mana stone cast with only a 1s delay every minute, which you can generally use waiting for seizure to re pop up, or dots that are down, some where in there with little to no drop in efficiency

i have the 14 int cap, its called cap of the thornspine, t3 fabled from old nek castle.

i also have GEB's(Golden Efretti Boots) 11int 48power? something nice like that with 20pow/tick regen

prismatic of course, 25 int high power, mana regen, cant go wrong there

if you werent one of the people that were lucky enough to get RoTI before they made it basically mythical lvl to obtain, Ancient Rallocian Gown from drayeks is probably the second best, currently wearing now has 16 int and some nice power.

an easy find that im wearing now are the Foreman Bloomers for pants, 14 int nice power, off gyrok in PF, the nightcrawlers are better, like 12 mana better or something after softcap(have 3 more int, and 6 power i think).

the collection quests for shards, Necklace of Flowing Orbs, is pretty decent neck that im wearing 11 int nice power.

rings, the pristine imbued ruby rings are pretty nice, they cast a 13int buff that lasts 24 minutes, they dont stack so i only have one, and then ancient slayers ring of intelligence is a pretty decent off ring.

Sash of the Ages is what i wear for my belt, 4 int some power, one of the few belts that has int on it.

for arms, bracer and gloves, i wear tundra walkers, they have 47+ mana, and after soft cap that pretty much the best you'll get aside from fabled, plus nice cold resists.

the ranged, got 2 pristine linen imbued chaos hex dolls, +12 int each, with the debuff proc, nice free int, and its easy enough to swap in and out mana stone/horse when you need it.

dont know if i left any slots out. but i think i have a half decent set of gear, base self buffed w.o clarity have around 3200 power pool with decent item regen, and hp regen for near instant power increase.

Message Edited by IvIorituri on 04-23-2005 09:21 AM

Message Edited by IvIorituri on 04-23-2005 09:24 AM

Message Edited by IvIorituri on 04-23-2005 09:46 AM

Its worth noting that given the soft caps on int in many cases a higher quality piece of equipment with no int but a good + power is better than say a "treasured" drop with unusual stats. Example Compare Sash of the Divine ( a rather common CT master thats not particularly good). With Sash of the Ages ( raid common drop with an uncommon 4 int for a belt). str/agi/resists aside the main concern is how much more power you get out of it. sash of Divine gives a very solid +46 power. Sash of the ages on the other hand gives somehting like 26 power and 4 int. 4 in 200+ is at best 8 more power. For a total of + 32 power. Sash of divinve wins hands down. This applies in many other areas too. Its also worth considering when looking at necklaces and earings. is +1 or 2 int worth losing out on 10 more power etc. Thats why i wear Circe's earing. its got a respectable 9 int and an even better 47 power making it a lot better than say some +10-11 ibt earings that I've seen. Now I'm mostly comparing a master to a crappy drop, but that mostly so the difference is more pronounced. it Applies no matter what quality or tier of loot you're looking at. And of course there are exceptions too. For example there are shoulders lvl 45 with + 14 int ( feerott catalogue I believe btw). Thats a huge chunk of int on a slot that normall gets none. the fact it has less power due to level and quality is less of a factor since the unusual and useful stat is so large. Anyway just a healthy reminder to not put too much weight into intelligence.

Heh call me different then. I would not give up Beguiler Robe. I dont need any more mana regen, and I will have GEBs any day. The rest of the stats dont even compare, but it looks like a wedding dress.
                                       Invoker Beguiler

AC 137 163

AGIL 10 17

Magic Resist 440 480

Str 6 13

Health 20 50

Power 36 40

Disease 160 360

Message Edited by Azmodeus on 04-23-2005 10:59 PM
