I just played Wizard for like levels 1 to 4, and Ive had more fun in that time than playing my scout to 20!Wizard FTW, plus I just found out we can Stealth, and get cool familiars that actually do something useful (threat reduction). Do they do anything else thats cool?

Know what else is "cool"? Hitting for 800 dmg with Ball of Fire at lvl 24. Or sometimes 1-shotting blue solo mobs at 70.

Oh, and we get telports at lvl 25. Those are "whee". And evac spells at 25 and 38.

small piece of advice.. dont judge your wizard before hes 20+ too... at the newbie isle and earlier levels a wizard can take some hits, but already in its teen levels youll notice he cant take a hit.. rooting will be needed, and an add might mean certain death at earlier levels :pi dont play a wiz, but a warlock and thats what i experienced. but when you start getting some REAL dmg spells ( for me the lvl 20 AOE ) youll be one/two shotting solo blue mobs and life does get a bit easyer. its just a tradeoff. cloth cant take a hit for the life of it, where as chain can take a few good swings. good you enjoyed it so far, but be adviced, you wont be able to take a hit =p

I did think I sucked up to level 50. And then I got Ice Comet. Being able to hit for up to 5000 is awesome. I go all over the place fearlessly. 1 on 1 I win most fights. I like going around and luring groups of greys/greens to attack me. I target the weakest member and as soon as they attack I take him out in 1 or 2 casts. Then I get out of dodge, recover my health and come back for some more. Seems to work for me. Your mileage may vary. I've played every class except defilers and mystics and wizards seem the most fun so far.
