'AA' is the term given by EQ1 players to the *new* Achievement system, as they can't get over the fact they no longer play EQ1.To the rest of us, these things are known as Achievements. They give you additional abilities beyond the base charactor, and you need to have Kingdom of Sky installed to get them.<div></div>

In EQ1 there came a time when most players had reached their logical limits in terms of level caps and quests and such - and it became obvious that in order to keep the game from getting too boring players needed some alternate way to advance. So they came up with "Alternate Advancement" (AA) points. They were XP points you could gain and "spend" on stuff like slightly higher run speeds and class specific  enhancements like a little haste here or a little STR there after you had reached the level cap and there was no compelling reason to grind anymore. An Alternate way to Advance. They are just extending that idea to the EQ2 world as well.It was a nice way to do things, although they never bought you anything that *I* personall felt was "Dramatic". I'm sure others would disagree.-GB-<div></div>
