44 Master II help

I am having an awful time choosing between the master II ward or the group heal at 44. I'm usually tank for a small guild of friends and we don't have many(read any) fulltime healers so I end up doing double duty most of the time. Any advice?

What level are those 2 spells of yours currently at? (Meaning are they adept 1, 3 or master 1?)

How hard is it to find the Master 1 versions of those spells for you on your server? (Make the rarer of the 2 master 2).

You can't really go wrong either way, though personally, I get far more use out of my wards.

level 40 ward I have the adept 1level 44 group heal - I am still using the level 30 Master 2 because it heals more then the app1-4.Master spells have been pretty hard to come by and if either came up I would expect them to be way out of my price range. At best I could expect to find adept 1's.

I took the Master II heal at level 44 and am still using it at level 63.

Absolutely no question - go with the ward

My advice is upgrade your ward to master 2, it has the most uses, a group heal is nice but only when you are in a group, the ward can be used solo, grouped or raid, power cost is much less and a adept 3 group heal will be ok. My experience is you can never have too much warded protection... SMILEY

Group heal i use a ton, but i use wards even more... SMILEY

I took the group heal at 44, being that I mostly duo or trio, and am usually the healer as well as the tank. IIRC, I took the ward master at 64, though it's been awhile, and I can't remember for sure, hehe. I can tell you this -- I've had MUCH more use for my heals over the months than for my wards. Wards are great, but I've found heals to be more useful for my play style.

I have to agree with Orcslayer, the Ward is the most versitile choice. However, if you already have the Master 1 or Adept III of the Ward, or can easily get them, iit would make more sense to make a choice where you will get more efficient benefit. The Ward will last you a long time, that was the choice I made.

I went with my Ward personally. I do find it is more versatile just as Orcslayer and Hakanek said. However I guess if you're more of a group player, group heals just might save the day. I guess it just depends on your playstlye.:smileywink:

Went with Heal, was able to find a Master I of the Ward.

Keep in mind that the Ward will be upgraded again at 54, while the Heal will last until 58
