Pally spell boost please

Yes I'm complaining...I like the pally and his abilities are fine to me...no he can't kill huge mobs like wizzies could, but he is fun to me. The one spell that needs to be boosted is the HORSE, I know your all laughing, but my goodness, eveyone gets a good spell at 20 and the horse spell saves you 2 plat, but it really doesn't, at 10% incresed speed the first thing I do is buy new horse...heck a crappy one is 25%.I just think it should be at least 18% or 20%.or please change the graphics to a donkey, because when I am out and about...horses are wizzin by me like mine has a broken leg, sometimes I just want to get off my horse and shoot it.Thanks for listening to my complaints.

The paladin horse at level 20 is a fun spell. Fun spells are not intended to be useful, and if you search the forums you will find lots of griping that it even HAS a 10% run speed boost. Yes, I know that scouts can literally run circles around the paladin horse while giggling maniacally. But don't hold your breath while waiting for improvements to a fun spell. It's not supposed to be useful, just fun. Wait until you get the useless squire and the equally useless Hand of Bayle, lol. With patience, you too can save enough money to get a real horse. Failing which, when you get into your mod-40s you can do a quest to get a free carpet with a 40% run speed boost.

I'll trade ANY of my level 20 fun spells for your horse...this brings me back to the good ol days when the first pally/SK horses started to appear. Your fun spell is the only actually useful one of the bunch (although the pets use to be). Smile and say thank you.

As a pally I can appreciate that many players of other classes already feel that the pally fun spell is unfair as it provides a benefit that no other fun spells do.

HOWEVER, the real point is that giving us a fun spell that provides a useless substitute for something we are going to have to go ahead an acquire anyway, which means that after we have acquired it, we will NEVER have any reason whatsoever to use the fun spell EVER again means that they NEVER should have given us a slow as molassas horse as a fun spell in the first place!

Actually, the pally horse used to give 20% faster run speed (back in the day), but then got nurfed down to 10% because people are right, it is a fun spell. Chances are they will not be changeing it back ever. Now if only they would let our squire run around with us saying funny things.. now THAT I could go for hehe..

Perhaps what can be done is with the next set of AAs in the coming expansion, what I hope to see are some AAs that make our "fun spells" actually useful...i.e. a horse AA that increases run speed (let's say to a max of 48-52%) and gives some defense or something, or an AA that allows our squire to actually become a pet of ours that can attack (even if he/she only hits for 60-70 per swing or something), and something of that nature....that would be pretty nifty!

Why do so many pallies complain about our FUN spells. Its a FUN spell. Before people had gobs of money to waste on their alts, having a horse at level 20 was f'ing UBER, especially because it did give you a runspeed bonus. Its just supposed to be fun. Its not like you're sinking your life savings into a spell to have it not do anything. Its pocket change even to those who are not twinked to the gills.

Don't think I have used my horse since lvl 21. That was after the guild all laughed at me on my "Pretty Pony" 10% run speed just not worth it hehe.

Pally horse is the only useful fun spell, it was overused back during release when crusaders on fun spell horses were harvesting from node to node faster than anyone and took quite a while for any guild to reach lvl 20 to even purchase a horse. Of course it got nerfed, don't expect them to waste any sort of dev time on re-evaluating the nerfage of a fun spell.Heck be happy, it's still the only fun spell thats useful still, can't buy a horse? want to use pally agi line?(or whichever one requires a horse, please don't tell me it sucks or any noob can afford a horse right now... besides any point) well there you go.
