Hello all,

I have a question for all you paladins out there.  I am currently a LVL 29 Zerker, and I play ofthen with my Paladin buddy who is a LVL 35 and obviously I will always let him be the MT cause of the level differential.  That and I get to do some nice damage with my SBH SMILEY.  However I always tend to steal aggro from him in the middle of the fight and i get blamed for it. lol I dont know why I get blamed but I do.  Now do you guys find it hard to keep aggro when playing with a Zerk, or is my friend doing something wrong or should I manage my dps I guess a little bit more and not go all out on the creature, even tho that is where the fun is.

Thank for the Input

tell him to cast redemption on you and stop crying. also make sure that NO buffs you have on and NO abilities you cast during the fight INCREASE HATE.

If he's 35 and you're 29, but he can't hold aggro, my guess is he's just not trying or doesn't know how to do it.  That just should not be happening.  If I was duo with a zerker, I'd prolly be using my 2 hander, because DPS > mitigation in this particular duo.  If he pulls and hits the first HO, he oughta be able to lock aggro easily.  Maybe have him use Call to Glory or Prayer at the start of the fight, then as long as he keeps using his normal battle routine  with taunts  finishing  HO, you should not be able to take aggro from him unless he wants you to have it.  He is using good drink, with at least Adept 1 in all important skills, right?  Got a decent weapon, imbued or proccing if possible? The only other thing I can figgure is that you must be a Yankees fan--and they auto-aggro all that is right and just in whatever realm they may be found.

hey, thank for the input,

Like i said not my character just a buddy, but I will pass along that info and see what he has going on, andd my mistake he is a 33 pally not a 35 but still shouldnt make that big of a difference i think at least. still 4 level dfiference from me to him.  But thanks I will pass that info for him, just tired of him bickering to me.

I four using bloodlust, that has a rather MASSIVE aggro component to it. Try fights without it.

at 48 ive found that zerkers are one the hardest classes to keep agro from. try having him cast redemption, and make sure hes focusing on taunts and not doing dmg.  also pallys dont have many AoE and only one AoE where as zerkers have many, so ive heard, so if ur using ur AoEs maybe use less of them.  Just a couple hints.
