Paladins: What weapon are you using?

I'm getting ready to ding Paladin and I'm still using a 1-h blackened sword that's blue to me.

I have a yellow 2-handed hammer from a quest, but when I'm tanking I need to go 1-h to use my shield.

Any suggestions of where I can buy/quest a better 1-h sword?

Also, what weapon are you currently using?

Don't know what level you are but here are some ideas.

In lower StormHold in the archery room the named drops a killer 2h.

Fawn(npc's name) in ..Starcrest( i think) gives a quest for a 2h, coldwind someting hammer, good for our low teen levels.

Skellies inTS drop a very rare quest for a 1h mace.

Check the FP bulletin merchant for some nice 1h from FP, one is called a hundred fold blow or something, attune it and it's nice.(fp bulletin is located by the one in qeynos harbors jump into the water and swim under then tunnel then go right and up into it)'

I checked every paladin I could yesterday and they all had the delacar's sword of honor (assume it's a quest reward for the paladin).

The best sword you can probably get for your 20s is Berik, Sword of THunder. Its a 1hander and isnt easy to obtain. It also has a proc. You start the quest by obtaining a random extremely rare drop in Stormhold called Sword of Thunder. The drop is random and can drop off anything. See a chest drop and cross your fingers (its a smaller chest)

I'm using a 2h called Soulreaver. its a great sword with good stats. I dont have teh stats handy, but if you send me a tell in game i would be happy to link it for you. I have had offer of up to 5g for it and i'm not selling hehe.

The sword droped off a named in vermins at the entrance to the crypt. Sorry dont remember the name of the mob either but i do remember that he was level 20, and not the rat queen.

No idea where it came from as I bought it from another player through broker.

I'm using a 1h Hammer called "Skullcrusher". I bought it from the blackmarket vendor in qeynos. Its pretty nice.

Steel Scepter drops off of Corpse Hunter in SH.The 1HB I'm using currently is StarFall. Which is a from a rare quest in TS obtained from a jagged metal cluster. Does 11-32 base damage with 2.5 delay, stats are negligible as this weapon is better than most 2H weapons you can buy. I do 25-79 damage at my current level with it.

Great Hammer of Storm Hold. 21-64 at level 22. 17 health 21 power. I haven't found any 1h that comes close to the dps.

pristine forged carbonite great sword

good stuff, same graphic as soulreaver 2HS from VS.

Buddy of mine makes the great swords... I mines a steel cluster, and hes going to make me a pristine forged steel great sword.. Ill let ya know the stats on it.

I've been looking for a pristine forged carb gs and would be curious to what the stats are. I bought a skullcrusher last night and found that it does enough damage when coupled with the defense a shield gives to balance the damage my 2h weapon is doing. Sure hope there will be some weapons with some character and uniqueness down the road as they are kind of boring so far.

i'm currently using Delacars Sword of Honor. I'm waiting to find a better one. I only want to use swords, so maces/hammers/etc... are out of the question. I really want to find a good 1h sword, like a pristine forged carb or steel broad sword.

I just happen to like big slow hard hitting swords as long as their damage is enough to make a difference and the 150ish ac my ash kite shield has doesn't make that much difference. Now 350ac might be nice though..hehe. On the starfall it's hard to tell which is better when the weapon speed isn't shown but unless I find one for sale or learn where to get one it really doesn't matter. For now I will go with what I have available.

I picked up a pristine carb [Removed for Content] sword today, it's not too bad, will last me a few levels at least. ^^ Not too fond of the graphic, though.

I'm currently using a pristine forged steel claymore for my 2H weapon, its 26-78 at 2.2 second delay at level 25, will max at 32-96. 4 int/agi/str/3wis/28health/26power. Does pretty decent damage.For 1 hand shield I use Starfall from the quest in TS (22-65/2.5 second/4agi/5str/12health/20power, maxes at 27-80 at 30), and a pristine conditioned ashwood shield (213 max ac, 3int/wis/10health/11power) when I am tanking. Starfall is decent damage, and nice and slow to minimize ripostes when tanking.Both are fairly easy to get, if you can find the steel and a smith, or manage to get the quest. Haven't really found anyone my level using better weapons than these.

For me i am using Berik, Sword of Thunder i am lvl 24 going to be 25. And completed the Ghoul Bane Quest its a nice sword cant equip till lvl 32, so going to stay with Berik till i get 32. But if you want somthing good and fast its better to find a good wepon smith and ask him to make you a rare. as it is well known the design of the game is based like this

Market bought---> short quest ---->player made----> rare mob drop ----> long quest ----> rare player made----> Artifact

same goes for armor, currently i am wearing Steel forged armor and its much better than the quest armor you can check the status too, diffecult is to find a good wepon smith and find the rare item in which tier you are in, so for your lvl you might require Steel clusters.
