I know most of you are prolly very very tired of questions concerning AA but......

lvl 70 sk and im working on the Str tree to later follow up with the Int (got KoS late and therefore only 21 in aa so far).

The qustion is: Some of the skills in Int tree says something like "useable if symbol equipped in secondary" so when I tank and use shield in secondary will the Int be more or less useless then? I mean surely shields are not symbols....right? So yes im a bit confused and would be much greatful if someone could help me:smileyhappy:

Yes, shields are no symbols ... and if you use a shield in your secondary slot then spells like "Legionnaire's Smite" will be unuseable -> You can drag & drop your shield and symbol both onto a hot bar and click them to swapp the items against each other, use Smite and swapp the shield back in! If the encounter would allow you to go without shield ... This is kinda similar to the Swiftaxe (STR AA) where for example peeps swapp in a crap axe to trigger the Haste and go back to a Sword ... Basically all Crusader tree Rank 2 options require a specific condition to be usable. The AGI line has most skills tied to the condition that you must be on mount, and Int has it's last opion tied to a symbol as well ...hope this helps a bit

Yes that surely clears things up a bit. Im even thinking "doh" why didnt I think of swapping weapons! Ill now stick with my crappy axe and go on a "hunt" for a better sword. Sometimes one needs to be guided in the right direction......

Yeah i almost always tank so i keep a shield out. I just put 4 points in Legionaire's smite to get to the spell crits. If im not tanking, then yeah, i break out the symbol and use the extra nuke. I have a whole hotbar of equipment so i can quickly switch. For example I'll equip an axe for Swiftaxe haste then click on a hammer so I can use Hammer Ground.
