How to gain Achievement Points?

Hello all, I'm new to the game, about 1 week of play time, im a lvl 24 SK and have learned Alot in my time. Playing on the RP-pvp server and enjoying it greatly.One thing that has popped up in my mind during play time is that I had a guildie whom was lvl 20 recieved an Achievement point(i guess its called this) im 24 and did not recieve one yet.I currently only have EQ2 standalone, is an expansion needed for AAs? How do you get them?

Nameds, quests, discovery exp will get you aaexp

I think you have to have the Kingdom of Sky expansion to the AA points.

yup, have to have KOS expansion.

Well I downloaded EQ2 off of Direct2drive last week, and when I log into the game after all the ads(nvidia SoE etc) it says KoS before logging me into the game, that means I have it right?

Well I just bought the expansion off of Sony's website.Do the digital downloads come through the launchpad? because i see no link for dl, or no email regarding the download just a reciept.

from launchpad click "my account" then click edit subscription. you should then get a list of active subscriptions and add ons that are connected to your account. the download is given through the launchpad.
