Turning from paladin to Shadowknight....

First off, any class that can be a paladin can be a shadowknight threw doing the quest correct?

Secondly how hard is this quest ( or quest chain ) and what is the minimal level in your opinion that it can be done .

This is the best quest in the game. You can go from paladin to shadowknight by betraying qeynos. Be sure to get the quest before you turn 17. The quest is a challenge if you havent read up on it.
