This is the version of Arcanna'se spire that you enter while on the tradeskill quest "Forging Ahead". This is a non-combat puzzle zone that you have to solve in order to get to Kunark.
If you have any issues with this zone or the challenges in it, here's a great place to let us know! ![]() (For adventure versions of the Arcanna'se spire, please see the appropriate threads in this forum.) |

I will add resetting the zone worked, but its looking really wierd, put me right up to queen with no aggro and Tserrina and Lanys are just hanging out watching me non aggro.

The mobs in this zone are easy to kill at adventure level 100 (with poor gear). The guards take a bit of a fight but the x2 took 2 hits and the x4 Lanys got one shot with a bow.

edit: Moved this post to the original thread I was posting in. The quest I'm on isn't called "Forging Ahead". It's still "Into the Spire".

Found scroll to activate golems - still unable to find anything that will allow me to click on it other than some candle wax and crystal shards. Unable to find a recipe or anything else that will allow me to make something to blow the crates up with or just allow me to blow them up without making something (and I have looked at every scrap of paper, book, scroll or other item I could find in the zone).
Edit after the 7th time searching everything in zone the recipe finally decided to appear. |

I started the tradeskill quest after going through as much of the adventure part as I could. I am unfortunately in my ascension illusion and can't turn it off due to the devs wanting to check things. Well I am on the ship and can't see if I am crouched or not so I keep getting caught. This is frustrating. Maybe put some sort of text that says I am crouched so I know.
Edit: Just realized this is in the incorrect thread. |

![]() Elanluelle also specifically tells you it's a the south end of the Abyssal Chasm, and it should be marked on the map as a little red zone arrow. |

![]() I ran into someone who insisted that they were using the default maps, and didn't have the little red zone arrow, so I had to give them a loc. I still suspect they had a custom UI going, though. I think they were also looking for an actual spire, not a portal, despite what the quest text says. That being said, I went to get the loc on the portal for them using a character that has not done the questline at all, and the port object to Obulus can sort of distract folks from the unassuming portal into the spire that is lurking behind it and to one side. Even knowing the portal was there, it took a moment to notice it behind the Obulus port item. It is just nicely nestled into the rocks, trying to be one with the environment, at least from the angle at which I approached. |

I aggroed a guardian of arcanna'se and had no way to kill it or drop aggro besides zoning out. Suggest making them leash and drop aggro after a certain distance or be unattackable/untargetable.
When I click the Alchemist's Mortar and Pestle while standing on the ground next to the table it rests on, I get a "too far away" message then cannot reclick the pestle. Clicking the candle to get more wax made the pestle clickable again. I had to jump onto the table and stand on top of the pestle to get the tradeskill create screen to pop up. Clickable distance and click reset could use a modification/fix when able. Clickable from the ground next to the table it rests on would be perfect. |

Is this just a pixel hunting puzzle? Are the items supposed to sparkle? I'm incredibly frustrated, can only find two items that seem relevant (the scroll stand and the box of supplies.) I think the items should stand out a bit more - unless I'm bugged and not seeing them.

![]() Things have to be found/done in a certain order. Once you have gotten the update for finding the queen, look carefully on the floor in the room with the scroll stand/pedestal to find the item that goes on the scroll stand. You'll worry about searching for something to make to blow up those supplies *after* you've gotten the first half of the distraction done. ![]() |

I found the distance I had to enter the room to get the update of having found the queen was inside the aggro radius of the names. Got 1-shotted twice and then just ran in as far as I could the third time to get the update and revive. Danced all over the room entrance and non-aggro range of names to no avail.

Well, I ran into a cutie;
Zone: Arcanna'se Spire: Into The Spire [Tradeskill] (I swear that was not on the list the first time I entered.) Walked into the first room off the small green court ... and died instantly. I was killed by an elite level 110 Primorial Malice shadownight! Zoned out and back in -- still there. There was another one in the circular entrance way, on the side opposite to your entrance, hiding under a destroyed, level 1, Guardian of Arcanna'se. |

I just found the door to the left of the entrance unlocked. It had a door on the right, entering a curved hallway which was being patrolled by a third shadownknight!

Heh, that's intentional...from yesterday's patch notes:
"Aggro NPCs in the tradeskill quest version of Arcanna'se spire are back and will once again mercilessly stomp careless tradeskillers!" Back to being sneaksy crafters and tiptoeing through...but we are also crafty crafters, so I'll bet you'll find a way to deal with them. ;^) |

![]() When you approach the room with the queen, head to your right (north) along the back of that first long table inside the room, step 1 step further into the room as you round the edge of the table. You'll find it gives you the update with zero aggro. It has worked for me every time I've run it on one of my crafting horde. (about 117, 2, -79 if the right/left is confusing for some reason) ![]() |
