Has anyone been using this brawler AA spell ? ( the last mantis ability -- it  teleports you 25 yards to your target)

I wonder if it's particularly useful for pvp.   thoughts?

I never went for this one, but I do know it's not like Sonic Fists. If memory serves, it doesnt teleport you back. There was a rumor that one of these two prevented social aggro, but that's not true.

I'm wondering if it gives 100% criticals for 10 seconds or if you have 10 seconds to make some kind of attack and at that point the "buff" is consumed. Obviously I'm too cheap to just respec to test this out, and I like Sonic Fists just fine for most of my teleporting needs... but it might be interesting to actually have a 10 second critical hit buff, you know?

Thanks. I do know how to read. The important part is: do you actually have the ability? Because frankly, I could give a ratonga's [I cannot control my vocabulary] what it says in the description :smileyhappy:

Well considering SOE can be stupid with descriptions when it comes to spells/CA'S and there not always clear but thats as clear as day. No i dnt have it cuz its crap but i tested it on beta, may have changed but i doubt it.

That's why I was curious in the first place. Too many abilities have effects that don't really match up to their descriptions, even this one in particular has a 10 second duration listed in the effects. Where is a 10 second buff or anything mentioned in the description? There isn't. It could mean anything :smileytongue:You still haven't told me how it works. The description doesn't tell me what the 10 second duration is for so saying it does what the description says doesn't really answer my question. Is it a buff that expires when you make an attack? Or what?

Yeah, the way I read it was that for 10 seconds you got all crits.

Last I tested it, it worked as intended.  That is, after using it, you have a 10s buff.  If you land a melee attack with the buff on, the attack will crit, and the buff is immediately removed - thus you get exactly one crit.  I seem to recall that even CA-based procs don't crit if they fire off the first attack, but I might be wrong on that.
