Well guys... it's bitter sweet.   SO far, from reading patch notes on test server, it seems like they are fixing Stone Deaf... so that will rock.   However, they are nerfing Close Mind, as well as the templar's immunity also.  The nerf will make it so beneficial spells will go straight through yoru immunity and still stifle/stun/root/fear/mez/pacify you.  It's not the end of the world.... but if that is the case, I woudl like to have a new lvl 58 ancient spell, being that theres not much point for Close Mind anymore.

Oh... but they are doing more cosmetic "Fixes" to Griffon towers!!!   Oh joy!  Just what I always wanted!
50 plat says you STILL get stuck on griffons from time to time after the 16th griffon patch.

Well, that's not a nerf but a bug fix. Close mind is still a very useful skill and the mitigation buff is intended to have some disadvantage. If anything, I'd like our new replace-a-5cp/stack-throwing-hammer pulling ability changed.

I want something else instead of Calloused skin, it will be the [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn]tiest skill ever after this patch. EDIT ok maybe the 2nd [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn]tiest one with sonic fist on the first place

Well, first off I don't buy the whole "Bug Fix".   A spell that makes us immune to stun.... should do just that.  The fact that we can stun ourselves, and combine the 2 abilities is not a BUG, but rather using our abilities to the best extent we can.  I believe the truth is that people complained because they saw that bruisers coudl get mitigation higher than guardian mitigation, albeit only for 30 seconds.... and the flipped out.    I tell you.... sometimes I wish I acted like a 10 year old and whined all day long just to get Sony to nerf all the people who beat me in a duel.

Calloused skin is still usefull, being that we CAN at least Taunt while stunned....   but... oh wait!   Now once somebody finds out about that they will nerf us so we can't taunt when we use calloused skin anymore.... because it's not fair that guardians can't!
Anyways, the spell will now only serve to be an emergency spell, rather than a good mitigation spell to use while pulling so you don't get One Shotted the first 5 seconds of pull.

Sonic fists is a very kewl spell.   I don't know why you don't like it.  It's not our best spell true, but it has so many uses.
1) It's a good spell for pulling,

2) It's a good spell for getting to places you otherwise coudln't get to. Pulling a named down from a high perch and your out of ranged weapons.

3) It's just plain Fancy.  People alwasy think I'm laggin, then they are like OMG!   Wow!  I love that!   Stuff like that makes the game have a little extra flavor for me.

4) Shard camped by a Ultra hard or Raid mob?????   No problem, just warp in, grab shard and warp back!  Even if you die again, your new shard will be farther away than your current one!

5) Also you have time to use 1-2 more combat arts before you warp back.   nice for raids when mob has nasty AOE attack.... stay out of range for AoE, warp in and hit him with Eye pluck and Crushing fury then warp back to safety.  Just a nice idea.

I'll just be glad when Stone Deaf is fixxed.

It wasn't just our combo that was broken though close mind type spells had a few combos that was unbalancing. Wardens have a heal that stuns them but it does like 500 hp every 2 secs. Now remove the stun and they cna cast their other heals. This made them the best healer in game. Thats just one other combo. There was quite a few out there. It was just the bruiser one was the most vocal. It was not thier intent to bypass hinderences on benificial spells. Close mind is still a great skill. I love 30 secs of immunity to spells effects its also a great purge spell.

Sonic fist can be easily fixed if they removed the minimum range on the spell.

stone deaf fix is great and dual wields get a nice tuning.

I fully agree with Gungo on this one, sonic is atm fluff more then anything and of extremly limited use, if they removed minimum range aspect of it though it would be a decent extra attack with range possibilitys attached, in its current form its pretty useless tbh.

i dont find it a bug either. Shadowknights Death March Skill makes the whole group immune to Stun, Stifle, Pacifiy, root, and mez and whatever stupid debuff there is, along with 108% DPS increase whenever something dies for 15 seconds for 1m time.

Well, eithere remove minimum range, or also increase the max range also... maybe if it could pull further away than throwing hammers... that woudl give it more usefullness.
