WAs just wondering because seems like every post talks about using a mace or something. Wanted to know because I'm a brawler and am going to be picking soon whether to betray or not. How about fists, how do they do with those?

I use fistwraps myself, I like em.  I think its a matter of preferance to everyone.  However some mobs are immune to certain kinds of damage.

If your talking about fists, as in fighting completly barehanded. It is cool, and you do okay damage, but not as much as you'd be doing with 2 rare weapons or a good 2hander.  Also, Barehanded fighting cannot hit names, epics, etc. Will light up "Immune."

Yes that'd be nice to have those weapons but I'm talking fistwraps or maybe gloves of some sort(sorry don't know much about weapons you can get with a bruiser SMILEY ) are those any good compared to two handed weapons or anything? If so please list some that I can get from quests or just hunting, both fist weapons and swords etc.

One thing that is a shame though is there seems to be no Hertiage Quest weapons for bruisers/monks. Yes, there's armour pieces and activatables, but stuff like PGT, BBC, Ghoulbane, SBH etc all looks nice on the wall but I want something I can use SMILEY

There are a few spells that we have that do less damage if ANYTHING occupies our weapon slots (according to spell info, not verfied).  But I still find it better to take the lesser damage from those few rare spells then not have my two 15.2dps weapons equipped.  I really think they need to fix bruisers and make it so we can do barehanded as good damage as a good weapon for our level.  Maybe not as good as a Legendary/Fabled weapon but better then most other things.  Or change it so fistwraps don't count as weapons being equipped.  I mean who wants cruddy barehanded damage when you can equip a weapon and do much better?  Same problem in EQ1 which they never fixed.

FYI my bruiser is 32.

There are a couple of other threads suggesting weaponless dps with offensive stance is better, but they may have Master versions and not be fighting targets immune to bare fist damage.

I have never hit a T6 named epic mob with Bare fists, however I can hit weaker wpic mobs bare fisted, such as the Epicx2 mobs in Clefts of Rujark.  I have parsed many times, and my barehanded dps is significantly less than when duel wielding.... though I have about 7 different fabled weapons, including 2 Tier 6 Fabled duel wielders.
