Bruiser Combat Moves

Hey guys,

I am going to start a brawler and as I always play evil characters he will be headed towards Bruiser. My questions is, are the bruiser combat moves as cool looking as all the monk moves ive seen pics of? Jumping kicks with legs really high in the air, cool martial art style stances etc? I read somewhere that monks effects make them look like martial artists but bruisers effects are styled like a heavyweight boxer, is this correct?

depends on what you use, bare fists, bo, quarter staffs, batons and so on... the bare fists you just look like any other player where the monk get that sort of MA stance but its decent.

Fistwraps you look like a boxer.

Batons and such you look pretty martial arts type

2hb is uhm...different. Half martial arts, half showoff, half drunken clown I think.

Pffffft Monks.

Bruisers get up in the face of the mob and commence to pummeling. While using fist wraps or knuckles you look like more of a boxer then anything. Monks dance around looking silly. :smileytongue:

I would love to see some real bruiser animations. Like actually grappling a mob to the ground or grabbing them by the shirt and throwing them to the ground. Imagine watching a fight and the bruiser puts the mob in a head lock or something.

my bruiser is only 21 at the moment, but i am having a blast... i usually us a 2 handed staff... i personally think it looks the coolest (and we all know looks > stats) I just wish i could find another version of kick that does the animation of the original with a staff... (if you haven't seen it, the brawler sticks the staff in the ground, uses it to brace himself, and jumps up and kicks, then hits the mob with the staff)
