Has anyone tested shrug off stacking capability....

Has anyone tested whether or not Shrug off stacks with other classes evasion buffs? At adept I shrug off gives 45% avoidance. Monks and Zerkers also get avoidance buffs they can cast on others and I'm wondering if they all stack. Shrug off is the best of the three, but I haven't really tested to see if you could stack all three on another tank or not. With how easy melee raid mobs are you don't really need to put more then one on the MT but just curious if any testing as been done or not.

I haven't done any exclusive testing of shrug off /w other avoidance buffs, but I tried this out a few weeeks ago,using shrug off, overtaking blows, and staggering stance.. which all stack and come close to doubling avoidance, and tank did not notice any kind of diffrence when tanking the king in cl, my guess is there is probably a cap in place for avoidance, 150% avoid would be a bit much :smileyvery-happy:

It would never be 150%. It would add 45% to whatever the targets current avoidance is, that new number is what the additional avoidance would add too. If you avoid 30% of all hits, it doesn't make you avoid 75% of all hits.

150% was an example.. however Bruiser + Monk + whatever other avoidance buffs are out there, I'm sure it would not be a problem to get it around 150%.. Bruiser + monk by the text can easily get it over 120% this isen't the topic however... Will it have an effect in combat?

Well I sometimes stack Overtaking Blows and SS on tank, incase it does stack for tough fights. Even if the avoidance doesn't stack for them, the MT should be getting better of the 2/3 buffs, plus I get the agi from SS for barrages and incase I end tanking something.
