I'm wondering why at level 20, we get the Cestus, which is slash damage and uses fists skill. At around 20, we get the buffs Roughhouse and Intimidating Orders. Okay, one increases fist skill at the cost of deflection, and the other increases offense and crushing at the expense of mental resistance. That just doesn't make sense that most of the weapons I have access to at the early levels of a bruiser (I'm 25 now) are either staves - dual wield crush, or slash/fist weapons. My most effective buffs do either one or the other then. What I do, is I'm dual wielding the Cestus that we got (it's still better than a bunch of the yellow/orange weapons I've found), and I have Roughhouse and Fiery Fists up. I'm usually not the main tank, or I'd have Brawlers stance instead of Roughhouse. Anyway, then I cast my three timed buffs - Intimidating Orders, Call to Arms (have to wait 30 seconds), and Staggering Stance on the healer. This helps the group out the most, but at the same time, shouldn't we be getting effective crush/fist weapons? The knuckles that I found were much worse than the Cestus.Am I just not getting the right weapons or do I have a point here? Why are we having to cast 3 buffs when we should only be casting 2 for our class?

staff, quarter, ebon, pair of ... you'll love it

its been a bit (outage anyone) since I used the buffs, so if I'm wrong, please correct me, but intimidating orders and call to arms don't stack... check your skills window and use both of them. The reason you have to wait 30 seconds to cast the other is because intimidating orders is meant as an upgrade to call to arms... you can have both buffs up at once, but it doesn't do anything extra. (you can still keep call to arms to use as a buff/ghetto area taunt)

if you want to use roughhouse, either get your slashing skill up to par, or use fist wraps... but so far for the tier 3 level range... the ebon quarter staffs seem to be the best readily available item on the market we can get our hands on (although maybe a bit pricey, definately worth it)

just my 2cp

They may not stack, but don't they improve different stats? Or is "Offense" considered thrust/slash/pierce?I'm just saying that we're most efficient because of our buffs, but the weapons available don't support the buffs.
