I'm pretty sure the devs are aware of this by now, if not, let's keep this thread up.  Break Through is clearly a bruiser skill.  Monks shouldn't get two kick upgrades at 25 while we gotta wait til the 30s for one

Break through is a good kick skill, that after you connect with it adds a BreakThrough Buff on you for a while.

During that time, your damage is enhanced! SMILEY Splendid Skill actually, but i am certain it belongs to the bruisers...

This has been long overdue...I can't imagine why this has gone unnoticed or ignored for such a long time. From what I have read, this had been brought up back in beta.
 
I would imagine this is going to cause an uproar with the monks because they have been enjoying our skill, but you would think it is blatently obvious when they do not get the skill automatically and can miraculously scribe a crafted or dropped spell scroll. I wonder how the devs are gonna handle this one because I am sure some monks may have paid quite a bit to get some of the higher level spell scrolls for it, but the longer this takes to fix more monks are going to be [Removed for Content] off when they take it away and give it back to us.
 
I think Zadkiel's interview with Moorgard was great because of all the straight answers he got, but a few of the questions were more monk-related issues...which is totally understandable due to the fact that Zadkiel is a monk. Given the opportunity, I would have asked Zadkiel to please ask a couple of questions that releated to their evil counterparts...namely the bruisers. The biggest thing I don't understand is this quote:
 
"M: Through beta I mostly played a goody-two-shoes monk. However, when the game launched I decided to lend a hand to Lucan's empire and am now a bruiser. I have to admit that I'm loving it! Guess my evil side is showing through..."
 
This is not knocking Moorgard at all because I am sure he is neck deep in all other kinds of priorities, but you would think that a person who is "loving it" could at least give us a simple nod that the devs are aware of the issue (and a possible ETA on the fix).
 
Bottom line: Breakthrough skill should be PHYSICALITY and not tranquility.

Agree completely, just giving a bump so somebody with authority might see it and give a [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot]... oh wait this is SOE lol.

Yeah, the situation is a bit silly. You'd think they'd come to their senses and realize that not being given the skill and having to go out and randomly buy it is a bug. How about a dev look at this and do something? Heh.

I have heard lots of comments about this and it surely makes sense to me that somehow our skill was fubared. [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] Qeynos and they're theiving Monks.

i didnt see any notes about it in the big patch. pm'd a dev, and sent it as a bug report. succesful? doubt it. i hope so tho.

SMILEY*** Combat Arts *** - Escape has been changed to a 5-second cast time with a 30-minute recast.- Power Cleave should now be available on the appropriate merchants.- Stealth abilities no longer stack.- Focused Rage had its description clarified.- Unfriendly Reminder should now lower the target's agility as intended.- Ignore Pain should now increase in effectiveness with upgrades.- Intimidating Orders should now increase in effectiveness with upgrades.- Watery Shot should now reduce the target's power correctly.- Break Through now has the correct skill requirement.- Bob and Weave should now increase in effectiveness with upgrades.- Kidney Blow had its description clarified.- Haymaker should now increase in effectiveness with upgrades.- Bouncer had its description clarified.- Fury should now increase in effectiveness with upgrades.- Grapple now includes a stun effect.- Bloodlust should now increase in effectiveness with upgrades.- There were many additional updates and fixes to address combat art bugs and balance issues.
