Crushbone.Allmonks group photo!

Late night madness had come over us last night in the Allmonks channel and Brice came up with a great idea to create a group photo of the folks in the channel! I told Brice I'd help out with it, so I wanted to start getting things organized. The plan is for folks to take screenshots of themselves, or have someone take a screenshot of you, in which you are mostly behind a "greenscreen" like background that can be easily edited out. The suggestion is that you have the photo taken of you when you are standing on a cliff of sorts with mainly the sky behind you. The more of the same color behind you that you can get, the better, as it will be easier to move you to the final group photo. SMILEY

When you have your photo taken, please try to include your name tag over your head, but do not include any titles of sorts. Guild names will probably be okay, but they might get edited out. Suggestions on a storage space for the photo's are welcome. SMILEY

Hopefully this turns out pretty well. SMILEY

Sounds like a great idea..... I just hope my scales are not too sexy to drown out all the wannabes.....

Can we get a stickied post regarding the serverchannel so the newer monks can find it? Most of us in it are older and have known about it for months... the info has found its way down near the bottom.

Edit: I checked off the sticky note checkbox, and nothing happened. Did I bork something?

Omg, I know who Lostmymind645 is hehe. You need to make a sig though, of you in your gi doing /flirt, so everyone else will know who you are. SMILEY

Additional suggestions for the pics: take a few different screenshots of your character from various angles and distances. At least one zoomed in to focus on your char from the waist up, one zoomed in just enough to show you from your feet up, and another zoomed out to max zoom. I'll try to take some SS's tonight and get them posted. SMILEY

Sounds like Harpax will be putting together the final product so he may need hosting, but I won't. =)

What are the requirements Harp? how much of a closeup or pan out do you want? Do you want us in any poses or just standing straight (for easier cropping)?

I'm thinking a max zoom out picture of yourself would work fine. I can probably photoshop the size down to fit. Take a few shots of yourself and pick one or that looks good. Maybe of some of your toon sitting or standing. Fighting action shots aren't going to be very useful here because we are going to be cropping you. Some of the emotes will probably work though. (I can see Keena giving the camera a kiss :p).

Also, if there are a bunch of you on a server.. get together and take a group shot. Maybe something funny with emotes. SMILEY

As for getting the pictures to me. I'm thinking if you can post them someplace and PM me the links, I can crop stuff together and put together the end product as a surprise. SMILEY

Guild tags are fine, hunter tags / titles etc are not needed

Full size shots are okay.

You can show your name via one of the display options, not sure where it is, just need to look around.
