Here we go, since NDA is lifted, granted I don't feel too well so I'm gonna sleep after this, so I'll have to answer questions tomorrow.

Without further ado:

As you can see one of our special skills is a group FD, and the other is a 20 second, 2300ish (at app1) ward against magical damage with a 90 second recast.  The few masters I have there I got just to see how spells scale, and how good the invis worked at master 1 lvl.  I was invis to some lvl 59+++ group x 4 mobs and some 60+++x2 in Silent City, but I haven't had a lot of time to test it, working a ton lately.

Next is a persona screen with me in "agility mode" (which isn't saying much SMILEY)

Now keep in mind a few things while looking at these stats and my avoidance/mit numbers.  This is wearing all the same stuff I'm wearing at lvl 50 w/o food or drink.  My agility dolls are +12 and I'm using all 3 bloodstone rings with acgf.  So this is pretty much just the stat increases you can sort of expect from gaining 10 lvls.  So it will probably look way different after respec and with newer loot.  Don't mind me freaking out in guild say, I just barely noticed it ;p

Now here is one with me going all strength (pris, iceduster, two +12 dolls, glove of savagery) BUT staying in the totally defensive stance.  Keep in mind my stances are app1, I couldn't get them master SMILEY

Lost 40ish agility, gained some str, and I only lost a few % from my avoidance and mitigation.  Not too bad I suppose.

Last but not least is all strength in my totally offensive stance (only app1 as well):

As you can see I gained some attack, some more mitigation and some more avoidance.  I would call this dps mode.  I'm running offensive stance, group haste, self haste, and our str/wis buff (which amounts to melee damage and resistances).

Like I said take these with a grain of salt since all of my gear is the same stuff I'm wearing currently.  When all of us hit 60 and start raiding and getting spell upgrades and gear upgrades I'm sure the numbers will be a lot different, plus with our coming /respec.

More later.

Rock on!! Quick question, tho.. What's the Attack with the icon of a Cobra partially coiled next to the pouncing tiger icon and the devestation fist icon? Did they switch the icons around?

Thanks for posting this Gage SMILEY I must say, the idea of a group FD... I had to pick myself up from rolling on the floor laughing! Definitly going to make an emote with that, ROFL! It is idiotic. I mean, How can I make someone else suddenly learn how to FD? Did SOE really think a berserker going berserk will lie still on the ground feigning death on my command? hehe I'm happy with the new invis. Always found it irritating, giving monk invis and then making it wortless at higher levels. Why does it say Brawler at Stilled life? (new FD) I hope it does not mean Bruisers also get this spell?

It would be safe to assume that. Monks and Bruisers have always had shared Combat Arts that were from either the Fighter Archtype or Brawler class. (Goading Gesture, Devastaion Fist, the feign death line, Rescue).

Huh? SMILEY Linky
14 - Feign Death (Allows the brawler to sometimes trick enemies into thinking that the brawler is dead.) 28.6 - Play Dead (Allows the brawler to sometimes trick the enemies into thinking that the brawler is dead.) 42 - Stop Heart (Allows the brawler to sometimes trick enemies into thinking that the brawler is dead.) Or from the Pre-revamped list. =)

The Combat Arts in the 51-60 range follows the same rules as the previous CA's. That is, there is an update to a CA every 14 levels. Though not all CAs are updated in higher levels. This would put the next heal upgrade at lvl 62.

Thanks for the post Gage. Yeah, group feign is going to be nice when some raid mob decides out of nowhere that he's peeved at someone for no reason other then he's in a bad mood. LOL

Some nice stuff in there, but I was really hoping to see a SF upgrade, to make up for what it seems they are doing to it with that "In some circumstances" comment on the description on test. SF is our single biggest contribution to raids. Ward is nice, Group FD is great, updated invis(well, let's just say about [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] time)but none are likely to be a truly compelling reason to put a monk in the raid over other classes, especially if group FD fails as much as normal FD. Stifle was that reason. With it we made a big contribtution to raid success. Hopefully by the time the changes go live, SF will be changed back to more of it's current form. It is in no way overpowering, it's just another benefit to the raid.

Thanks Gage.  Nice info to have.  While somewhat excited about the new things coming.  I am disappointed also in that to be avoidance based as we are, we really aren't getting anything to boost that.  Yes, nice buff for Str/Wis...but worries me that your best avoidance is almost 59%.  I do realize still some more work to be done, just worried here.

The avoidance we now have is the pits!  I guess we definately aren't supposed to be tanks now.

Mid to High 50's at level 50.  That's horrible considering I have high 70's at level 40.

Why the envy? You're a Brawler too. It's not like Bruisers won't get the skill. They will.

Bruisers don't get it.  A bruisers new level 50 abilities are: Kick 'em While They're Down(deal additional damage if the opponent is on the ground) Sonic Fists (a teleport attack that does slow damage at range) Stone Deaf (absorbs 1 hit)

sounds like some great spells!

so to clarify, is the Group FD an actual FD where the group is stripped of buffs and literally FD.

OR is it a "the mob THINKS the group is FD" and acts accordingly. i.e. basically a big whopping de-taunt?

According to this post FD won't cancel Maintained spells or pets anymore. I am not on Test or Beta but looking at the description it is a real FD.

Yup that is correct, and you now get a message when you fail a FD attempt.  Its a lot better imho.
