Level 40 specialiazation choice?

BTW, thanks for all the replies in my "Level 40 gear advice." I would've had a full set of augmented when I dinged 40, but all recipes requiring rough linen were bugged... so all I had was the augmented pouch when I dinged SMILEY

I still got that green + sign waiting for me to choose my technique. I believe the choices were:

New Taunt: +500ish AoE hate, +5% dps to caster, 20 second recast

Spitting Cobra: disease dot I think

Bakindo's: high damage Stumbling Boar

Phin's Mountain Haven: +parry/deflection/agi upgrade for martial discipline line

As I've said in that other post, I still tank at 40 and hope to continue doing so. In my guild static group, there is a 39 SK that can probably do some intervene and other buffs to possibly make things even better...

Anyway, for those with experience, which one of these would I expect to still use at 50? If there is another Stumbling Boar type upgrade before 50, I probably wouldn't go with Bakindo. Same is true for Phin's (unless Phin's really is that great).

I believe at 50 we get another taunt. I took Velan's 8s recast AoE taunt at the last /respec and I've been loving it. Only at 39 while leveling with a 44 ranger did Velan's start to fail me. So, I had to switch to Focus Energy to help grab as much hate as possible early on in an encounter.

BTW, what is the use of Stone Stance? I didn't have the adept/app4 when I dinged 40 and received this. I used it in battle and saw that both my avoidance and mitigation were above 80%. I wasn't aware that it stifles you and "seems" to prevent attacking.

So, if that is the case, why would you use this? If you are stifled by the ability, you can't keep hate. Any ideas?

Oh, and tiger form is so very sweet.

I took the taunt but I'm not especially pleased with it. I only use it to grab agro back if I lose it. I might change it to my pull taunt though. The others looked worse. The DOT has stacking problems and the stumbling boar line sucks.

I took the taunt, I love the taunt, I would marry the taunt.

Okay, maybe not, but its nice.

With the new +agi to Phin's I'm not 100% sure, but I also took the taunt and i'll tell you right now, that 10 seconds can make a HUGE difference if you are trying to keep agro in a group of high DPS'ers.

Phin's is the last of that line.

The AoE Taunt is replaced by Agitate Spirit at 50 (I think).
