Toranim's Baton (the reward) is useable at level 30.  I think you'll need something else before then.
Firwood Fighting batons (dropped off Rotting Pioneers in TS near the Antonica zone line) are rather excellent and effective, giving great boosts to Agility.
If obtaining a pair is beyond your reach then i suggest a pair of whatever pristine player crafted weapon you fancy.

If it is the blue stone one I am thinking of (haven't finished it yet, need to get my mining up to 90 first) then it is started by talking to a woman who needs a new broom in Nettlevile Hovel.

The blue stone is for ghoulbane. I would guess you can't use it.

The blue stone quest gives you an option.

After finishing killing the Undead in SH you get the choice of ending the quest there or continueing on.  If you end it you get a choice of 3 or so weapons.  They are not usable by 30, but are really decent ones.

I've asked this question a couple times in Quest forums and never gotten and answer. Is there a way to start the DBS quest again and stop at the point you get weap choices?  Guess I wasn't paying attention when I did it and just continued. So now I have no weap and Ghoulbane quest in book SMILEY

If you search the forums, some have offered alternative ways to acquire another stone. :smileywink:

LOL!

Oh and on another side note, it seems strange that the damage on this is so low.  Ebon Eye Maces are 1.8 and a lot more damage and better stats (for the most part).  Interesting.

Actually doppelschaffen is a weird word, even for germans. Wish they wouldn't translate mmorpgs nowadays :smileywink:

Gesundheit means Bless You in German I believe, but could probably be translated into Good Health as well.

"Doppeltschaffen"... translations like these made me decide never to play on the German server (which I was on in beta).

And yes, "Gesundheit" means health.

Just an FYI. In Forums I found a proposed method for restarting this quest, just start a new char do the broom quest and put the DBS in shared bank. The theory was you could then start again. This does not work. I used this method, got another stone, examined and it discussed the mineral expert but never actually gave me a quest. Tried talking to guy in Graystone and all he does it the same "non quest" speech.

Somebody else suggested deleting the Ghoulbane quest and trying to talk to the Cleric guy again. Has anyone tried this? Since I screwed up the DBS already I don't want to screw up Ghoulbane. Sure I can't use it but might as well get the xp out of the quest.
