Combat Revamp: My experience so far on live.

All right, there are a few things I like and a few things that have me confused. First, I am a level 50 berzerker with a few legendary items and the rest decent treasured stuff. My only master I is rampage (which I must say rules now). Basically I have had a different experience so far depending on whether I'm soloing or grouping. When soloing, I've been able to easily handle all solo type groups that I've tried (havnt tried above even con) and even conning single ^ mobs. I used to be able to solo the sootfoot lookouts in Lavastorm (which are now ^^^) but they own me now. This brings me to the next area: grouping. When fighting ^^^ heroic mobs, my ability to tank seems to be completely downgraded. Someone on this forum mentioned soloing a spectre in SS? Well I duo'd a couple with a level 50 defiler and we could barely win. I was in a full group with a 50 Templar and I was getting owned by a level 51 ^^^ heroic named that came with a ^^ add. Meanwhile, if we had the Pally tank instead it was no problem! To repeat: THE PALLY was a better tank! He had similar gear to me. This doesn't seem correct. How could a Cleric (should be an elite healer) have trouble keeping a Warrior alive against a heroic group one level higher than us? We tried having me tank the same mob 3 times and got wiped every time. With the Pally we won every time... So, I want to list what buffs I was using when we failed in case anyone notices something I'm doing wrong...but I can't imagine what that would be. Maintained: War Chant, Stance: Unyielding Will (defensive), Focus Rage (better than the newer atm due to master II option), Tides of War, Destructive Rage, Offending Defense, and Blood Boil. At start of the fight I used Anarchy, Weapon Guard, Controlled Rage and Wall of Wrath. I use my stuns. I have no trouble at all getting/keeping aggro (we seem to be quite good at that now, an area I was definitely better in than the Pally) but I was getting destroyed. We were fine with me tanking non named blue heroics. Any feedback would be much appreciated. I am seriously concerned that my tanking ability has been nerfed to near uselessness (if we'd have to switch tanks any time a named popped, etc). I used to be main tank running through Nektropos: The Return all the way through Everling. Now, I don't see that happening, though I'm curious to compare before and after. Hotep of Nektulos.
