24 day out until the game goes live and I and many others have been stuck on the same part of "Shattered Seas: Enter the Savage Lands"
How can we test anything at all if I have been waiting around for 3 days trying to get a GM to either Login and Fix/ push me past the broken part of the quest. Or for the Developers to fix the damn thing and upload the patch. Dozens of people in chat all say they are on the same broken part. After the deliver Starque back to the village, there are no new quest to pick up and the Siq quest still says to help the Pygmies. No real equipment drops(hard to test zones in old gear) Heroic zones still broke Signature quest still broke in Pygmies village (still first zone) SOE do you really want people to beta test? I get the impression you don't as I have at least 3 friends that have stop playing beta for the same reason. They are stuck and there isn't anything working to test. |

They don't wanna give too much of a heads up on the new drops before people just up and stop playing the last month of the expansion most likely. Quest / Heroics would you rather they work on fixing it now or after it's "live" ? There are beta mount rewards, but this is just a TEST phase, bugs and glitches are expected as they try to get it fixed before launch.

I have tried reading the Shattered Seas thread but it boggles my mind. I am stuck as well on Shattered Seas: Enter the Savage Lands. I have completed quests from all the pygmies that had feathers and all that I could find that would interact or give quests. The quests I have completed are:
A Deino Saved is a Deino Earned A Deinodon is Angry A Toast, To the Far Seas Handle with Care Hiding from the Deinodons Now That's the Spirit! Preparation for the Pygmy Wars The Allu'Thoa Menace Starque Raving Mad I checked both highlighted areas on the map that had pygmies. The smaller more remote area didn't have any feathers. There were named pygmies but non would talk to me as far as I can tell. Is something not updating the Signature properly or are we missing something? I had a second help pygmy bit on the signature for a while. One cleared, the other did not. The signature only indicates that I helped Sedj and not the others that I helped. (Lagni, etc) |

Katanallama, it fine that they have no gear, thats no the point.
If the main Sig quest is broken half way thru, no point in testing beta.(run around in circles for no reason?) If the Solo/Heroic zones are broken, and no gear drops from the few mobs that work, no point in testing beta.(Who want to keep running a broken zone if nothing is gained) However if the questline wasn't broken people would need to run a lot of the zones, either solo or heroic to finish the quest line. Sony is just giving us no reaon to even keep trying. Go into a Heroic zone you alread know is broken, Why?(no reward and it doesn't move the main quest because thats broken too) |

I understand the frustration, I've spent many many hours stuck on a quest today that I don't know if it's an operator error or a bug that needs to be fixed but losing my patience and taking it out on the ones who are trying to fix the bugs won't help. Our purpose on this beta is to help them find the problems so that they can provide us with an expansion that works great when the time comes. Everyone is having difficulties but it's important to remember that these developers want these problems fixed every bit as badly as we do and they can only do so much at a time. I can't even imagine what stress they are going through everyday to get this up and running proper for us. We are all a team right now, so lets work great together on this for all of our benefit. |

I am not taking this out on anyone trying to help me. I am tell SOE they are going to loose beta testers if they don't fix a bug that has stumped everyone doing the Sig. The only people I know that have passed it are a few that got a GM force a fix. The bug has been reported by at least 4 people that have told me personally that they have /bug it 4 days ago. This is SEO not doing a priority on bug fixes and happens when there is no direction with the people fixing the bugs.
How does anyone one even know if the quest after this point is not riddled with hundred of bugs because nobody can even test it yet. Sure let this bug go for another week or 2, and than when they do finally fix it the realize 2 weeks from release of game they find the second half of the questline is broken horribly because nobody been able to get there and test /bug it. Priority is fixing 1 mob that isn't showing a quest in the questline that nobody can get past.(btw its not even likely at the halfway point scince we are still in first zone) |

Finished the Pygmys today without an issue. They fixed it finally.

Apparently folks have progressed past this point. I am just hoping we aren't overlooking something. Hopefully, if it is bugged, it will be fixed Monday!!!!

Uhm.. it's Beta... what did you expect? That's the entire purpose behind Beta, to help fix broken code... if you don't understand that, and aren't willing to /bug or /feedback to get things fixed, then back to the live servers

I agree. I want at least to complete an overlands questline to get a mount reward. I am stuck at the same point with pygmies.
Hopefully it will get fixed soon so I can run it on my other char to /claim a mount. |

![]() there were some that were only visible in my questlog, not on the onscreen one. I needed to go to Waulon Highpebble (or close to that name) and was finished with helping the Pygmys. Even learned their language. Looking up the quests, logging onto the Beta right now. logged back in... the quest is back... hmpfst... |

At some point, my quest got a second line added to it. It originally said Help the pygmies of South Dshinn. Early on something triggered a second line that said something like Help other pygmies of South Dshinn. This one cleared when I finished the quests. If indeed someone finished the pygmy quests today and progressed to the next stage, did they start it after something was fixed? I hope I don't have to delete the quest and start it over to progress, but this is beta and that can happen. I would just like to know if I should wait or delete and start it over! |

I read on the Signature quest thread that it is fixed as of this morning. I logged in and found a feather on a guy named Finze in the northern part of the larger pygmy village. I got a quest!!!!!! YAY!!!!

As of 5 mins ago this quest is still broken for me. I get no knew feathers, none of the pygmies in either village will talk to me. I have learned the pigmy language and kill the lizardman (weapons and war quest).
BROKE BROKE BROKE BROKE with no response to this thread or my /bug report. People only who say there quest is fixed are ones with the language problem fixed and now are doing the war with the lizardmen.(all-whatever they are called) I have done these quest. |

![]() they said it would be patched today they usually don't patch beta early in the morning like they do normal servers.Of course though you are farther behind on the sig quest than what most people are complaining about being broken |

received new quests. was sent to pickletrader, but due to accepting his signature beforehand due to progressing further, he isn't on his hut anymore. can't turn in the quest.
else Allu'thoa luring a deino to the bridge works fine but does'nt give an update for the quest. Even got an invisible deino with me. How to get the invisible one: get to close to the one to charm, aggro it, charm it, it goes poof... can't charm a new one, can't drag across the pygmy bridge, on bridge "no monsters to charm" down below "you already have one following you" ... |

I'm getting EXTREMELY frustrated with how you have to magically know which order to do the pygmy quests in or you are completely, 100% broken... unable to get any further quests..... impossible to finish the signature questline... and how no devs have said anything about it, no update for it, and here I am, waiting to beta test the rest of the xpac, but every toon my hubby or I have gotten through the Broken Skull bay instance (My squishy was getting 1 shotted by the drunken boxing, which I hear has been fixed?) has gotten stuck at the pygmy village with a broken questline. >.<
I've been seeing in chat all the people that have gotten stuck there for about a week now and yayyyy... it's my turn now. >.< And the people who did get past that don't know what they did to not break it, so I have a feeling any other toons I spend all day getting to this point will get stuck too. XD And no answer yet when I asked if the fixes would let us continue, or if we had to re-beta copy toons. gahhh! |
