Well test it using the beta buffer gear ;-)

Extra constraints :
- Duos are forbidden
- The mercenary Lady is absolutely forbidden (cause she can tank heroic and would make things way easier)
--> reason most players don't have access to her, indeed any feedback mentionning using her should be consider as irrelevant.
- Krivix brothers are forbidden too
--> same reason

Perrin and other elite merc and skyshrine mercenaries are allowed since everyone can get them.

You are allowed to pick a tan or healer class, but true masochist will go for a bard ;-)

I think that she's asking someone to test beta as if they were a complete new player i.e. starting out with terrible gear and terrible mercs.

Is that what you're looking for Kalika?

I couldnt imagine doing any of the solo zones in the "recommended" gear as it is now.. even the ones that don't have super OP trash, especially as anything other than a tank or healer.

I just tried the first solo instance, Brokenskull, using Aminn (linked below) who's in full cryptic armor and using Stamper as the merc.

Stamper basically died every fight due to Drunken Boxing so by the time I started up the ramps I just quit summoning him back. Completely solo if I only got 1 of the drunk/slur mobs I could handle it though it was close at times. Had Barnacle Bill add when I was fighting a slur, got the slur dead but doing so had used up my stoneskin & heal so Bill was able to finish me off though he was down to less than 10% when he did it. Went back and got him again, was doing fine until he did his dashing whatever which knocked me back and caused me to get a Wench add. Between what he was doing and her flirtation they wiped the floor with me. At this point it was time for me to eat so I just left.

I figure I could probably do it solo/molo if I was willing to just grind it out but I figure it will take me at least 2 or 3 hours to do so. I'm not real sure how likely I am to want to spend an entire gaming session doing this, especially when it comes to running it with the 2nd or 3rd alt.

I realize that the loot tables aren't in yet but let me just say that for that kind of time investment I'd expect some pretty amazing loot.

Sisca, go over to the Brokenskull solo thread and let them know that drunken boxing is still hitting, this ability was supposed to have been removed from the solo versions.
