Moorgard posted just today quite a long statement on scout balancing...in that quote he makes some interesting general comments on class balancing in general...since the Monks have come to your forums with several 100+ message posts I thought I'd invite you to our forum to add your comments...

Hmmm, I honestly don't see the point of that post. Moorgard's statements are pretty generic and non-commital, and they don't address Monks or any fighter classes in the least bit. To me, the entire Moorgard bit looked like doublespeak and CYA with no actual information given out at all - decidedly uninteresting actually.

As you see in my original post I was referring to the general direction and comments of the post. Those regarding balancing at the archtype, class and subclass level, the comments on give and take, with the scouts/mages as the example, etc...

SMILEY I didn't say "Moorgard posted on the fighter balance we've all been discussing for 3000000 posts." I just felt those comments mentioned above and the other generic statements themselves was of interest...might give a bit of insight into how the Devs look at balancing overall...

My level 21? Sorry bro, been 50 awhile, and the real reason I don't post on the monk boards is because I'm not a monk stuck in a guardians body. I don't play a monk, I don't want to play a monk, I do not have the in-depth experience of playing a monk (at least in EQ2), so I do not have the knowledge and experience to comment on how they are played or what changes to make to them. Now isn't that refreshing rather than a person playing another class coming to your forum to moan, whine, and complain about how your class is so "over-powered" and godly, and you can fight mobs that are level 57+++ and never even get hit once or take damage whatsoever.

Nah, I prefer to stay in arena's I have experience with, I wish a few of the monks would do the same.

Who do they think they are? I could care less who they think they are, but to me, they are showing themselves to be very ignorant trying to tell someone who has played a guardian for months about what the capabilities, advantages, and disadvantages there are to playing a guardian, while they have ZERO playing experience as a guardian, especially high end raiding.

Play your monk, and enjoy it, and if you don't like some of the things YOUR class has, go post on the monk forums.

I don't care who they are, really. Its a forum for everybody, if it was only for certain classes, they'd be password protected.
