The Vanguard FF Experience (2009 wish list)

I was thinking about the Vanguard FF experience from last year and thought of a few things I'd like to see this year:

1.) A bigger room that's more centally located to the rest of FanFaire for our panels. Last year we were in the middle of nowhere next to a family reunion while the rest of FanFaire raged on downstairs.

2.) In the main hall, how about a little more Vanguard exposure? I'd love to have our own booth area with some displays. Let's get more than one machine running the game.

3.) More organized panels. Last year it seemed like we had the same discussions in every session with very little formal agenda. If you compare the Vanguard presentations to EQ or EQ2 you will notice that the others had more of an official agenda for each panel with time for questions and answers at the end.

4.) Acknowledgement from Smed / Brenlo about what's been going on in the game and where it's headed (especially in the community address). Even just mentioning the game would be a step in the right direction.

5.) Better technology in our panels. How about a more professional projector / sound system? Let's step up the overall quality of the Vanguard experience.

6.) Pass out free trial CDs to everyone in their bag who attends the event

7.) How about some Vanguard schwag in the bags? Maybe a toy god from the Pantheon or something.
