Travel tip (airline + hotel together saved me $300)

I think the major Internet travel sites along with the LV Hilton are running some kind of special deal. I just booked airfare and 3 nights in a classic room at the LV Hilton from 8/14 checking out 8/17. The airfare by itself was going to be like $500. The room, using the online Hilton reservation was $450. So, I was looking at $950. Instead, I clicked on book airfare and hotel together and my final price for the same items as a combo was only $650. Basically, I'm at the Hilton for only $200 for 3 nights is the way I look at it. Anyone who hasn't signed up yet might want to try booking your travel that way. I was getting the same deal by doing the combo on all the travel sites. Maybe everyone knows this but it was new to me and definately good for the budget. That extra cash will pay for my registration and food. This will be my third Fan Faire, looking forward to it!Laz

My math is a bit off - long day. The room worked out to $150 for all three nights in total. Can't beat that!
