It's that time of year again.  We are looking for ideas for vendors... So if there is someone you would like to see at Fan Faire let us know and even better if you have contact information for said vendor please send it along to the Fan Faire email address.

Would be nice to see some computer hardware. Specifically gaming desktops and laptops. Since Dell bought Aleinware and they provided the computers for the game room in Vegas.  It would be nice to see a sample of their other systems running the games (i.e. Laptops). Also. bring back the vendor who was selling the Headsets in Vegas, i would like to buy a second set.

Not so much a vendor, but I think that if you wanted a kick [Removed for Content] band / show for a party, Ablannach from Scotland is one of the most awsome live bands I've ever heard (they're a drum and pipe band) and they're always a favorite at the NH highland games (which I see on their tour schedual they'll be at again, http://www.albannachmusic.com/tour.htm )  So just a suggestion if you need more entertainment options too =)

Well consitering SoE will most likly be showing off thier own Voicechat Service at fan faire, I don't think they would want another Voice Chat Company thier.

As far as vendors, that company that was doing the Cellphone Picture Posting last year would be a good one, I forget thier name.

Is there any way you could get folks selling items from http://jinx.com at fanfaire this year?  They have a ton of great stuff, and I think almost every gamer would be interested in a Jinx booth.  I remember when crgaming (casters realm) had a booth some years ago with personalized t-shirts, mugs, coffee cups, etc for order, and it was very popular.

What about more specific game centered rl loots?

 For example, the ONLY thing that I bought was a little leather cuff/bracelet with a dragons head on the end with Everquest II embedded into it. I believe there were EQ2 hoodies and hats. But I don't even think I saw any female fitted tees with Everquest II on them, if I had I would have bought 5 so I had backup if anything happened heh.

 I also remember there were Everquest key chains, but I *think* they were EQ1 centered.. I remember looking through them and not finding anything with defiler (eq2 class) on it.

 So yea, I'm just saying I don't think I'm the only person who wants some more game centered items there. I don't know if you guys find businesses and then give them pictures and logos to work with... but you should get more variety than baseball caps and expensive hoodies.

I think there were pins too, but again, either they were eq1 or they didn't make sense.. get some SoE employees who play the games and know all the classes to design some fun pins or keychains.

 I'm trying to think what else would be fun to have the game you play name on it.. oh I remember there were everquest backpacks... but who uses backpacks other than students? What about some satchels or bags?

It would be nice too if SoE could put actual pictures of game mobs/zones/bosses/known npcs onto these items. If there were some female tshirts with things like the dragons of everquest 2 on them, some prominent people/npcs (other than Lucan and Antonia since they are not even in the game) I would literally buy each and every different design.

 And I just remembered the cuff bracelet I like... what about even pendants and necklaces with class symbols on them? Symbols as in the classes' forum avatar, or the classes epic, or a prominent spell or pet they have.

Just ideas. I know this was a venders thread but I'm just saying it would be nice for you guys to find some venders that can make custom stuff for you. I don't need to go to FF to buy a generic keyboard I can get online, or a generic fantasy dragon statue... I want stuff related to the game I play =)

I agree, the one thing about Fan Faire that I found Disapointing was the lack of Game Specific iteams for sale, yeah they had the Server Banners at Auction, but other then a few Hat Pins and a few other iteams there really was nothing with game logos on it, or even SoE logos, I mean come on, this is the one place you are shure to find people willing to pay SoE for the ablitity to turn thier Bodies and Desks into SoE product advertisments and there was virtually nothing to buy. Heck the both selling Genaric Fantacy stuff had cooler and (atleast for those playing Fantacy MMOs) more relevent stuff, then the SoE both.

Not sure on the clothing and apparel contracts you have with companies but you could potentially get something going with www.cafepress.com and have them there promoting their custom clothing and item making they offer and at the same time, be selling off SOE apparel using their items and processes?

I have been to the last 3 FF's 2 in Vegas and 1 in Atlanta. I would love to have a vender selling the or a Shaman pin... I was able to get a pin that says my server and one that says Barbarian...but never one in 3 years that says Shaman.

Also simple T-shirts that could say Everquest Shaman... [Removed for Content] Everquest....#1 cleric ....Sneeky Rouge...ect...ect...made to order simple stuff would get  big sales I bet. Easy as putting the class and guild on a shirt....*shrug*
