It started out as a comic, but me 2007 armor-makin' venture is goin' nowhere fast! Between site wurk, answerin' emails, lookin' after two young dogs, more site wurk, eatin' and breathin', Oi have nae managed ta cut ONE piece o' leather yet. Not one. If Oi show up in a burlap sack, there bedder be no larfin', or Oi'll wield me mug as an improvised 1-handed blunt weppin! SMILEY

I must say, i know sorta what you're going through. I'm not maknig a whole costume (only did that once ah well) but I'm a bladesmith and i've been working on a damascus sgian dubh for with my kilt. This darned handle is never going to get finished in time >_<

Y'all saw that you can't carry weapons, right? Not even fake ones. What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas but… "Bring Costumes We encourage everyone to bring costumes. It’s fun seeing everyone dress up as their favorite characters from SOE games. Please note that there are some restrictions on costumes. Masks or heavy make up are not allowed in the casino or public areas of the property. In addition, the hotel does not allow weapons (steel, wood, or any other simulated weapon that may pose a danger to yourself or someone else) in any public area. If you are found with a dangerous weapon in your possession in a public area, you will be asked to return the item to your room immediately. "
