FanFaire Registration Question

My mother surprised me for my birthday by paying for my Fan Faire registration (I was already planning to go and had booked the air and room but registration just now opened up). I put all my own information in (Name, game, Character name, etc....) and she put in her Credit Card # and such.

I just got confirmation emails sent to my email account with HER name on it. So now my question is: Am I registered, or is SHE somehow registered under my account? or what?

I sent an email to the fanfaire email address that was tagged to the confirmation email but I cant get a response through that. Anyone have any clues? Or a dev / CS / mod I can PM with this?

Its been 4 weeks now and I've emailed the return address 3 times now and no luck. I just found these forums so I'm hoping to find some help here.

Hey there!!!

You should be fine for registration, so don't worry. The email you got was probably regarding the payment, and was more of a receipt for the credit card more than anything.

HI there...noob101 here......with a question that hurts my big head too much to look around for....SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO..I busted me nuts n honey making lots of monies and threw some of it at EQ......( here is the question ) hows this gonna work...I walk up to the door and say " HI., Im Neju..lemme in now with my pass please?"

I don't know if things will have changed for this year but this is how things went for the last Fan Faire I attended

1) Find the room registration is being held in

2) Find the line that correspods to the first letter of your last name. i.e if you see a line that runs A through F and your last name begins with a S dont' stand in that line.

3) Wait in line

4) Wait some more

5) Depending on how busy it is, wait some more

6) Get impatient, leave the line find the nearest bar and go have a beer with the other Fan Faire attendees who are also waiting for the line to dwindle down

7) After trading stories of courage , adventure, gnomish loving and server outages get back in line and wait

SMILEY Check out the models dressed up as Firiona Vie or Antonia Bayle if they pass by

9) check out how many guys are wearing the t-shirt from the first Fan Faire

10) compare how many of those guys can actually still fit properly into said t-shirt

11) get to the front of the line and collect your registration package.

No no no, do like the EQ1 Norrathians do and camp the Line spawn several hours in advance. Bring a friend so you can always have someone hold it if you need to AFL (Away From Line) to bio or eat. SMILEY

When the line then opens to grab registrations, you'll get it within 10 minutes. SMILEY

I'm gonna have our guild monk pull the registration people to our group, hopefully he can FD off all the aggroed attendees that are in line.
