![]() I'm in level 92, running Chelsith: The Ancient Vault with a mercenary. The mobs are 96+, mixed heroic & solo. I'm getting: You gain 65 XP plus 156 XP from bonuses! (or) You gain 78 XP plus 187 XP from bonuses! I know I'm taking a penality with a mercenary, but that's really yukky XP for killing yellow heroic mobs. So I suspended my merc and got You gain 111 XP plus 267 XP from bonuses! You gain 33XP for defeating the encounter plus 80XP from bonuses! That seems really really slow. Surely that can't be as intended? |

![]() OK, so are you asking for: 1) overleveled, mentored heroic content that can be soloed, to have the mob kill xp MASSIVLY nerfed or 2) That after running 3 or 4 of the solo instances after skiping all of the overland content in this year's expansion, you should be at level cap? I hate to post the same thing in several threads here, but if you want to level as fast as possible, in a game that has mob kill xp, grinding will ALWAYS be faster than questing. So crying about 'grinding is faster' is just asking for mob kill xp nerf, or throwaway questing content. You can say that you should level cap after doing all of the new content (and not have to repeat stuff over and over), but just considering time playing the xpac VS time grinding mob kill xp in an over leveled zone is a lose-lose argument.

Actually there should be mutliple viable paths to the same goal when it comes to leveling. And those paths should be within 5%-10% of each other. Not one take 5-6 hours or less and one take weeks/months. |

I am asking for, at level 92, XP better than mentoring down to 30 and running Varsoon Leveling in a hurry has never ever been my concern (ask anyone, I only hit 92 last month). But a hell-level grind should be avoided. |

![]() The only thing that needs nerfing is the Dev idea that 92-95 should be a long drawn out process. Seriously, I'm not going to hit 95 and hang up my hat with nothing to do. Nor am I going to pat myself on the back for a job well done in some virtual gaming world. My goal is play the new content at L95. Period. End of story. So I would prefer that the transition be a slight speedbump rather than a grinding treadmill, especially since I've got a few alts to repeat this on. If I have to grind these 3 levels out in another expansion, so be it. But there's really no need to make the quest/mob xp in the new expansion so discouraging. RoK doesn't need nerfing. CoE needs enhancing. |

![]() Solo zone EXP was around 1500 per kill (with 200% vitality and 100% vet bonus) when they switched the Beta server on. I figured this would be good enough that I'd have no problems leveling all of my alts up in the new zones. After 3 or 4 days though, they nerfed the Solo EXP to its current, pathetic level. It will be even worse because on Live we won't have the veteran bonus anymore til we get to 95. I guess it will be back to old zones such as Chelsith for 2500+ per kill. As usual, we're headed back to old zones... such a disappointment. |

![]() The issue here is that if you want to SOLO GRIND to 95, it is BETTER to head to OLD ZONES and mentor down for the exp instead of doing new content. Add on the fact that the new content requires us to do the solo timeline, and that the timeline has some things that are made for lvl 95, such as solo instances (do you want them scaled to 92 so it soloable for those doing timeline or 95 so they are still a challenge for most players). Questing in games made grinding have a point, and if a community needs/wants to grind instead of the storyline, the art and lore is a waste, just have generic zone 1-#, with generic mob 1-#, no fancy graphics, and turn the game into mash buttons grey fog. No need of expansion packs, new zones, or mobs, just make an alt, give them the best gear, and delete the account. |

Yes, even after the new XP adjustments. I want to be encouraged to do the new content first, and only have to go work old stuff for fun, or if I was lazy on my dungeons or somesuch. |
