Permafrost - Chat issues

Could someone please upgrade hamster to hamster 2.0.

Major lag on chat, tells, and guild chat for weeks. Often times 3-5 seconds between sending it and it showing up in the chat window. Sometimes even longer.

This has been talked about and confirmed by multiple members of my guild so its not just me.

Yeah, we're getting in between 5-20 secs chat lag on Crushbone as well.

PS - Maybe it's me only but noticed that connection quality decreased a LOT since SOE changed their internet provider few months ago. We're getting at least 5-6 LD players per raid night....

Hey guys! I'm sorry you're experiencing chat/connection issues in the game. I'd recommend you all (including your guildmates) submit a support ticket to our technical support team so they can investigate in the matter. Please be sure to include your Dxdiag and Msinfo to expedite the process. (Instructions are in my signature below)

Did you even read the orginal post? Do you really want one of the largest guilds on the server all submitting tech support tickets? Complete with dxdiag and msinfo. None of which i can begin to fathom have anything to do with laggy chat server. Mail is hosed up too.

This is a SERVER problem. And not isolated to 1 person.

IM sry and dont mean to sound Upset or anything BUT CAN YOU WAKE THE fill in the blank UP and have someone check the chat servers casue as of 930 pm est 7/16/2012.. there is 30 sec plus chat lag and has been like this for over a week now

The chat lag has been going on for months - its just been getting progressively worse is all.

Alex, I get that you're a rep in a can and all you're allowed to post is general "I see you" garbage, but seriously....

Permafrost, Oasis, and Crushbone are calling in on these issues. We get up to 15 seconds of chat lag on Oasis and many of us can't get our gifts out of the mailboxes.

Catch a clue and let the team know that something needs to be rebooted, reset, or looked at.
