Launch Pad won't go past "processing"

I got kicked from the game, and at first the launch pad wouldn't go past the black screen, then it finally went to the next couple screens and I was able to enter my username and password. Once I clicked PLAY though, the launcher goes no further than "processing" with the little spinning wheel. This is even more frustrating than being repeatedly kicked from the game while playing, and having a black screen come up that says Invalid Username/Password. Login failed. Please try again. That happened 3 times yesterday.

So much double xp time spent just repeatedly logging in.
