![]() The Fury prestige seem a bit out of line with some of the other priests - and I don't really think you guys understand much of the mechanics behind DoV fights either. I see potential sustained HPS being touted a lot, but the ONLY thing that matters in DoV fights is spike HPS. Clerics/Shamans are insanely better at that than Druids at the moment. But I'll try not to get in to that The line that gives AoE damage on DoTs is essentially an extra tick at the END of the spell that's AE - this amounts to less than a 1% damage increase even on fights contrived specificly for it, which there are none of in the game. It's going to be equivilant to having a (much) lesser version of Upbeat Tempo on you for most fights. I would almost rather have an enhancement to the Ball Lightning line and/or Ring of Fire line to make those useless abilities useful again (simply share crit chance/bonus with them). They're very close to being removed from my hotbars forever, and I expect they've already been removed from some people's. Every upgrade I get, they become more useless in comparison to my other abilities. The "upgraded" Tempest appears to do less single target damage (ability mod not applying?). I don't know if this was intended. The original tempest can still be used, but all the Furies I know have full hotbars so it's going to be a challenge fitting it in. I'm not sure the mitigation increase on HoTs will be useful very long - Those don't usually scale with gear, and gear usually scales pretty fast these days. Is there any chance this could be changed to % damage reduction if it isn't going to cap those? I don't know what percentage the extra mit is equivilant too, though - mitigation has always been a black box in EQ2 to me. |
