Please don't  just  take CritMit off our gear. Just rename it  unassigned stat & matk it have the same value as Casting Speed! It would be alot better than just taking a stat that we worked so hard to get away from us! + That is what reforging is for!

Except one problem, not everyone owns AoD.

It's being removed from us, monsters are losing a potentially equal stat, that's fair. Providing SoE doesn't mess it up, which they will, but that's not the point.

If you dont want to buy AoD Than you forfeit the stat! That was easy!

We work to get our critmit to 300  I dont want to it to be for nothing!

Word, i do want something else for exchange for critmit... as this was most the point gearing an item (or the yellow slot).

Reforging would be great tbh

Not that it will be a huge problem, but the desirability of some items will be affected by a straight removal leaving gear from the DoV "inferior" to gear prior.

Will be interesting to see if the implementation is clean and how much gear is thrown out of whack by a straight removal of the stat.

Reforging crit mit is actually a very good idea because it will keep progression contigous. I suspect items were created with a certain point score with crit mit being major factor in an items' score. This is why there were items that are downgrades but you had to use them because they had more crit mit. A lot a more difficult items to get were only better because of the crit mit. Examples would be the drunder x2 gear being superior to most EM x4 gear and some HM x4 gear with crit mit removed. Also the ToRZ challengemode BP without its 46% crit mit is almost complete junk.

Terrible idea.  It's something that affects us all so it should be fixable for all of us, not just those who purchased an overpriced "expac".

If you didn't take advantage of the triple SC day to buy AoD then you have nobody to blame but yourself.

I wouldn't have played the 30 bucks for it but it was well worth the 10 I got it for.
