Do the elite mercs even exist?

As topic, are they actually ingame on Live servers? 2 months now on AB and I have yet to even see another player with a rare merc, or see it mentioned that one was found in any chat channel. Is this another feature that has been forgotten and just left to collect dust without letting the playerbase know that they were being scrapped?

yea, ive read all of those, and my complaint of noone on AB has seen them still stands, i dont care how rare they are 'supposed' to be, 2 months and noone on an entire server has or has seen one? why even put them in if you would have better luck finding an honest politician

Funny story. I was out looking for the Billy doll looking one and mentioned it in /gu. One of my guildmates saw the Niad in SF when he was leveling one of his alts. He wanted to grab the merc for his main so he quickly camped to his main and made his way to the merc.

The Merc wasn't there 3 minuites later when he arrived. Moral of the story is they move. If you see one, grab it NOW.

You don't know whether anyone on AB has saw one or not, just the people you have asked.
