I've perused the boards since the GU landed and not found any workable fixes to the XP out of memory crashing problem.  I've been able to play by avoiding troublesome zones and areas ( found after many reboots ), and thought I'd share some reproducible oddity to see if anyone has any work around for these crash problems:

1) If I fly to the fuel vendor in Moors of Ykesha, then fly straight up and orient myself toward Obelisk of Ahzkul, then fly straight toward it, I always get an out of memory error after about 10 seconds of flying.  This is the part I expect.  However, when I restart the game, and log that character back in ( even days later ), the world doesn't render.  It's just a pitch black screen.  Chat / hotbars / compass, etc render, but the world / character doesn't.  What else is odd, is I can /camp to another character, and cast spells / abilities even though I was flying when I crashed.  I evac to make the world render again, then fly to OoA, which leads to problem 2:

2) I zone into OoA, and crash on zoning ( run forward is never toggled, standing still and clicking the portal to zone in ).  I reboot, log the character in again, and instead of being at the start of the zone where expected, he's standing in the middle of the zone, slightly under the world ( location 0.39,0.82,1.18 ).  I can jump up through the floor and complete the zone as normal, kind of... the adjunct spawns twice if I kill the whole zone.

The OoA problem isn't that big of a deal ( since I'm only there to kill the one mob I spawn close to ), but the 'black hole' on crashing is really strange.  Any ideas?

Would you mind posting your DXDIAG information for me please?  Top 3 sections covering system/display/sound devices.

I know I really need to get a new box, but that won't happen until after the holidays unless Santa gets my not-so-subtle hints .  It's just the failure to render the world thing after crashing and logging back in that has me baffled... the zoning into mid zone I don't mind so much.
