Yes, you do! I just hope nothing breaks upon the merge. Would hate to redesign everything again. Took me roughly 20 hours including designing, crafting and testing/adjusting.I am working on part 2 at the moment. I have only finished one room in that with decorations, and man, it's looking great. A lot of people complain on the Dungeon Maker and while there are limitations and room for improvement, I definitely think people can do fantastic stuff with the motivation and patience. That being said, I am still waiting for the dialogues in my dungeon to activate 100 % of the times, as right now the story becomes broken due to them showing up at random. |

I also love the dungeon maker-both the making and going through to see what others have done. Sure there's room for improvement, I just figure that'll be an ongoing thing as the devs see what we love and what we don't love. I'm working on one too, and now I'm gonna have to learn how to make a dang video for when it's ready! *Laugh* |

Lol. If you really enjoy making videos, I recommend Sony Vegas 10 Pro or later. It's very expensive but well worth the money if you edit a lot.Ironically I find it also much easier to use than windows movie maker. Never understood that program. One good thing about Sony Vegas is that if you use for example Sony Vegas 8 Pro and later want to update it to Version 10 or 11 is that you don't have to buy it all again. You just pay an upgrade fee to upgrade it for the latest version and get a new CD key for that. Really handy! That being said, I haven't tried Adobe Premier but I've heard it's good. I did try Pinnacle Studios but it's horrible. So yeah. Adobe Premier or Sony Vegas 10 is the way to go! And no, this was not intended as a Sony commercial, lol. |

If you're willing to spend $600 for Vegas, I would suggest going with Final Cut instead. It's only $300 ($400 with compressor and motion) and blows vegas out of the water. Of course you have to have a Mac to use it though. |

![]() Yup, but like you wrote. Mac. If I am gonna buy a mac too just for that the cost will rise insanely. And I can't play all the games I want on a Mac to get some footage either.Either way. For PC it's Sony Vegas or Adobe Premier. For Mac Adobe Premiere.I think Sony Vegas works great. Even if the newer computer has a rendering problem causing images to become kind of duplicated in a weird way. Had the same problem on my old too but it vanished when I chose preview quality. You can see it in this trailer if you pause it at fast movements, that it contains double screens. Can't get rid of them in any way. Not sure if it's Vegas related or codec related though.Edit: Okay, it's not present in this video. But in others it is. Oh well, I am not complaining. |

![]() [In response to the spelling faux pas (sp??) above...] I'm currently working on a new language called "new american"*. It's awesome, pretty much removes ALL spelling errors and allows for all of the 21st century txt/accronyms of the modern day. We should be able to publish it soon, shortly after it will be pushed out the colleges (firstly in the IT/Educational fields) then public schools. We will continue to work with everyone up to speed on technology and such so we can continue to perfect it on a daily baisis because of the continual changes and trends. Our company's vision is very organic but will take a lot of work! Next year anyone will be able to download it off of iTunes or anyother web based system as they need to. This system will be a huge help - especially to parents with teen age children (We already have several beta testimonials in our data base!). There will be no more need for "what is lfg or what does DoV unlock, PK, or even DMV etc stand for"? A simple app to see what the dungeon is or anything that you are curious about - with this system it will all become second hand and standardized. Everyone will know what a PR is in Seb! Even to those folks who don't play EQ2 or work for the government. We currently are recruiting for folks (on a free wiki.pedia salary) who are super hip and know the lingo though to help improve this movement as we continue. Those that are interested will surely be able to find us on the goggle thing! ps *we considered "nw Amr1c@n" and multiple variations but wanted the global community to take us serious! After all this IS the future!!!! PS2... sorry if this is too off topic... i was inspired all of a sudden! |

![]() PW - I suggest oh server mate that you, if you have not already dont so, get load files for each of the homes you have so if anything is askew after the merge you can merely reload them The load files work for Dungeon Maker the same way they do for housing, in the very remote chance you were not aware. Nice work btw~ |

Yes, the "Save Layout" feature works in dungeons as well as houses. I tested this out in beta and confirmed it works on both save and load so just make sure you give the file a name that makes sense to you when you save it. That is on my list of things to do tonight as well (the guild hall in addition to houses and dungeons I am working on) |

![]() It was a very nice video, and can't wait to try it out If you want just a stand alone solution the best I would recommend Adobe After Effects. Not used Premier too much, but AE will give you more options to include special effects and all the editing tools of most video editers. You can only buy it in a CS5 suite currently which is around a grand, but if you're seriously interested in the field, a good way to go. Adobe Premier offers a Premier "elements" package, which is probably like a watered down version of the pro version but will give you most of the features at a much watered down price, i didn't really find. Either way, all of the above offer a 30 day trial at Adobe.com if you curious and want to play around with it. Also if you do, YouTube has tutorials on about anything you might want to try - they are pretty deep programs once you start fumbling through 3D spacial and different types of particle effects for animated text etc. |

In regard to your 2nd dungeon, its going to get very interesting as time goes on and devs work out bugs and add new functionality. as we know, eq2 zones like vigilant and tofs unlock access to next zone. creating storyline and access unlocks for players dungeons would be amazing plot devices. there is so much possibility. imo the biggest threat to DM flourishing is content monitoring. dont want pedos writing illegal dialogue. like/dislike is too slow, and dumping issue on customer service would be a nightmare for them just to deal with the false and borderline /reports. imo it needs an computer-automated community feedback based monitoring system with CSRs on standby. community feedback would quickly resolve the grey area 'is it too offensive' or just a little. something that is subjective would be impossible for a professional employee to do (define indecent) could be handled by an objective script that polled players for feedback. |

![]() Illegal dialogue is already a bit controlled. My flavor texts got error messages when I used the words "gases" and "master".I thought it was a bug first, but then I tried the F-word just to see if it was a filter of some kind, and it was.I am still unsure why the words "gases" and "master" are censored though... It's hard for me to belive anyone find those offensive, especially "master" lol. |
