![]() Since AoD I've noticed a couple of issues that effect game-play. When I launch the game, the launchpad does not shut down, and to me it seems like it slows things down rather badly, For the moment I manually shut it down. Also I've seeing the game crash more often due to memory issues while going into areas I've been into before without a hassle. I don't know if these issues have been mentioned yet or not just thought I would mention it here.

The LaunchPad staying open is temporary while an update is worked on. It will close itself 15 seconds after you start the game after that update.

I can help explain the memory issues but I need to look over your configuration. Post your DXDIAG information for me.

If its an option I would highly recommend moving to the latest Windows 7 64bit OS. Not saying its the best course of action to resolve your particular issues, but theres no reason not to trust it any more than XP that is set to be completely unsupported very soon.

![]() I'd love to check out the new Freeport and I'd really love to play a Beastlord again, but I can't play more than a minute or so without getting kicked out with a "application ran out of memory" message. My computer has plenty of memory. I even removed DC Universe Online, but I'm still having the problem. |

Hard drive space and memory is very different. This is being discussed in another thread, http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=510547 so i'll lock this one up.
