Hello, I just started a character in the Faydark starter zone and noticed some graphical issues in the form of black blocks littering the lanscape. I've started characters in other areas, such as New Halaas, and had no issues. I'm wondering if I might need to uninstall and then reinstall the game but figured I'd see if I can get any answers here.

Here's what I mean...

Please make sure your video card drivers are up to date, you have installed the latest revision of DirectX (linked for you below), and lastly that you are using our latest LaunchPad for Everquest II.

Please download and run the file linked in the article below.  This is a self-extracting executable file that will prompt you to select a folder for extraction.  Create a folder on your desktop and direct it to that folder.  Once complete, open that folder and run the DXSETUP file to start the actual update itself.
