Does this mean that the RoK recipe for the broker/house vault expander is now useless? Yes the one carpenters used to have to grind alot of faction for?

Doesn't it at least add more items to be placed?

The expander sages make adds to house item count, however there is another RoK recipe that adds to house vault/broker slots number

Dimensional Pocket Expander - Sage made - allows +100 more items in your house

Crafted Vault Expander - Carpenter made - added 1 extra vault/broker slot (if you didn't have 6 already)

Both are faction recipes from Kunark, but to the OP, yes the crafted vault expander is currently useless.  Smokejumper made mention of looking into changing it somehow but I've not seen any updated info on that yet.

kinda makes bigger houses completely unneeded as well, at least for sales purposes.

Just wait... additional broker slots will be coming to a SC Marketplace near you... and sadly, I will be buying them...

If they had extra broker slots on the Marketplace, I wouldn't bother. Get a 5s inn room for an alt, instant 6 additional broker slots, just place all the sales crates in a single toon's home for one-stop shopping. I can't imagine ever needing more than 42 broker slots (7 toons x 6 slots each).

Most of my characters dont even use up one broker slot, let alone six. As a matter of fact, once a character hits 80 I run out of things to sell. I'm also lazy with my crafters, though. As far that recipe being useless, it's kind of like that one month (maybe less) where the carpenter-made master crafted portal to Quel'ule was really useful and then they added a spire right next to where it ported you to. Oops. Nothing was ever done to make that recipe useful, so I'll be surprised if they do something about the vault expander. Who knows though, one can hope!

Broker slots aren't for SELLING they're for STORING! Who doesn't like more storage space =)

Might the Sell back value on the Crafted Vault Expander be increased?  I mean sure Chromatic Essences are cheep but they ain't 3g cheep " SMILEY

I'd be happy if they just made the carpenter item the same as the sage.

and stackable with the sage and SC ones.

OR if it was a teleport pad pair, stackable with the other ones.

Unless something changed when i wasn't looking, you can only sell from ONE toon per account, at a time.

Pretty sure that changed a long time ago, since I can be on any toon selling items and see all my other characters goods for sale. I could be wrong but postive it changed ages ago, when they changed the way the broker worked and gave us house placeable sales crates to sell good directly from our house.

You can't imagine it ?  That is so cute.  I guess I need to stifle my imagination and adjust my gameplay according to your imagination

The one for the home is still useful. Unless you are a mage with the spell to port to spire having a portal in your home can still be of use to some peopleSMILEY

Yes is sure does. I was not happy about grinding faction to get that recipe and to have it useless now, not a big surprise but, still not right.

Actually it makes more of a call for house expanders. Just because we have more houses doen't mean people who decorate want to use less things in their creations.

I got one of the dojos and put veteran's sales closets for all 9 of my characters in there. So no, you can sell from every character.

i don't have the needed faction yet, but I'd start getting that faction immediatly if they change it into a stacking item limit expander.

Most of my characters are small (fae, arasai, ratonga and my pink frog lady), so in order to have a "fitting" home, i have to downsize pretty much everything. Smaller things use less space, so it's even harder to fill a house so it doesn't look empty. I never managed to decorate every room due to item limit, i always had to block of some rooms.

For example- the existing enhancer crafted by sages gave my fury half of her Aquarium- it consists of about 200 parts.(was the first thing i build in that house, and when i was finished, limit said 200 items are used)  So 200 are already used and thats just the aquarium. 3-4 rooms are blocked of/ unused, and still i cannot add much more...

So please, turn the recipe into a second/third item limit enhancer that stacks with the existing one.

I also hope to see some always-stacking expanders. if necessary via marketplace, so we can buy the extra space the data uses. Then i could build full-decorated houses sized for their owners.  We could divide the existing rooms into several smaller ones, we could build more floors- i think i'd fit 18-25 arasai-sized rooms in Layakilies FP home, f. e. .

While waiting for sleep yesterday night, I had an idea: why not turn it in a 200 item slots expander that would work only in guild halls and stackable with the 100 crafted from sage? That way Guild halls could use a 200 expander which they cannot do because SC items cannot be used in GH.

So, what's new?  Most of the chromatic combines are utter crap now, as usual when they redo stats they ignore anything and everything that isnt in the standard recipe books

I muted several sets of riluss chain, all of my bloodwood bows and bucklers, muted the charms.

Blood Ore gear never got fixed from the first armor rework.. much less now.

but.. it mainly effects adventure gears, so may not be well known on the house items forum.

I'd like something to be done with the vault expander recipe, I hate seeing this 100% useless recipe sitting there in my book. Vault expanders are still in the game too, I have some I had on the broker, and there's people of course too. Can we get a way to turn those back into chromatic essences? I have been holding off selling them just in case they get changed into something else.

Yep.  Now there's no limit on how many crates you can have in a single house.
