new to eq2

Hey, so I am new to eq2 and I have played eq1 and wow couple years back and was wondering how the assassin's class is. I am die hard pvp'r and I have been debating a lot on making an assassin or monk or bruiser, just wondered if yal could give me a little insight, thanks
