High Ping While Fighting

I've been having some pretty high ping while fighting since about 2-20-2011. At first I assumed it was my own connection; so to make sure I logged on to a few other MMOs I have and did not experience high ping at all. Last week I bought another computer, and after installing and updating EQ2, I still have the same problem. I'm running Windows 7 (on both computers). Is there anything the support team could offer me advice on?
