So i got a computer by my father some days ago, its like 2 years old. An Acer Aspire 5535. (windows vista)

And the hardrive is almost filled with alot of things that i dont use and dont need.

But when i play EQ2 its always laggy, i'm down to 3-5-7 FPS all the time.

And i'm getting pretty tired of it,

So here is the question:

Should i clean the computer and upgrade it to Windows 7?

Would it make it stop lagging?

(Sorry for bad english)

While ensuring that your hard drive has enough free space is important, it may not be your issue.  Are you familiar with the specifications of that laptop?  I've included a link to the Knowledge Base that will help you generate  diagnostic files for us that can help me identify an issuse.

[EQII] Video walkthrough: Generating dxdiag, msinfo32 and netinfo files

I am most interested in having you post the DXDIAG and MSINFO32 information here.
