If you buy an additional character slot from the character select screen you see the price as 500 but it actually debits your sc wallet for 1,000.  Customer service is taking care of the problem, but, just as a heads up to people buying, buy them in game from the /marketplace window, not from character select if you want to take advantage of the half price sale hassle free.

The 'charged' amount for the login character slot item should be fixed now.  If you were charged an incorrect amount previously, please contact customer service for assistance.

I submitted two tickets, one from ingame as a character issue, a second from from the SOE support site as a Station Cash issue (since the first one may be in the wrong department.) I mentioned to disregard either ticket if one or the other works. Is this OK?

This was fixed about 10:30am this morning. It's safe to buy from character select now.

Anyone that got charged 1000 SC should submit a ticket to Customer Service and they'll resolve it.

You probably only needed to submit one, but two won't hurt anything. SMILEY

I submitted my petition as soon as it happened, many hours ago and it still hasn't been resolved.  I had hoped it woulda been fixed today because I wanted to use that stationcash that was taken extra to get more character slots

I'd love to buy them but every time I pull up the marketplace window in game, it's black - no text, nothing.  I use the fetish UI.  I've been looking for patches for this for a week.

Try copying over the default ui piece for marketplace over to your custom directory maybe?

I purchased it in game, got the item in my bag, double clicked it.  It went away, but I don't have a new slot yet.  Am I missing a step, or did I somehow lose it?

You can delete eq2ui_inventory_marketplace.xml. Then edit your eq2ui_global.xml and add this line: eq2ui_global_marketplace.xml right below this line: eq2ui_global_optional_download_required.xml
Credit for this goes to Lord Ebon over at EQ2Interface, not to me.  I will verify that it works, however.

You should have the button available to create a new character.
