I'm having the same problem - running as admin doesn't work for me. However i have noticed that the size of the file to be downloaded gets smaller each time it reloads. Still trying atm will let you know what happens

Nope that didn't work. Right clicking and selecting "troubleshoot compatability" and getting the wizard to fix it seems, however, to have done the trick - no error messages SMILEY *Breaking news* update completed successfully!

Having issues with the station updater myself. I keep getting this message:There was a problem confirming the size of the file C:Program FilesEverQuest2lp_tempUIDefaulteq2ui_mainhud_tutor ial.xml. I'm running win7 (64).At first i put the game in the "installed games" folder. That didnt work, then i tried my user folder same thing, and now i installed in program files.Any idea what i need to do here? I'm new to win7

By default the Station Launcher installs itself in a folder called C:ProgramData.  You may experience patching issues if the game is installed in Program Files.  If you have the extra space and are willing to try, make a copy of the game outside of that folder (recommended location: C:ProgramDataSony Online EntertainmentInstalled GamesEverQuest II).

Alternatively, you can try using the EverQuest II Streaming Client
