![]() Hallo all! Returned yesterday after a 3 years brake. Made ma a Paladin so team up with my wifes Mystic. Got a question to the stats, Char creation told me the most important stat for my Pala is Str du the fact that he is a figher class. What i remember is that, Str was for melee damage und to where some plate stuff, Int was for spell damage, WIS for healing and Stamina for HP! Has this changeng now? What are the most important stats for my little Pala? Thank you for the help! |

![]() STR for fighters since Sentinels Fate, INT is for mages, totaly worhless for a paladin now, you will raise your spell dmg with STR aswell. You still get resists of WIS and AGI will increase your critical mitigation & base avodiance, not much tho & imo not worth putting any effort in. |

![]() Yes but even with the most frugal of gear choices you'll cap it out easily, especially with buffs... just concentrate on strength. |

![]() Also note at lvl 90 the particular stat caps. For your primary stat (Str for you Wis for your wife's mystic) it has no hard cap, however it has a soft cap at 1200. There is a chart or graph somewhere on these boards with the primary stat increase in dmg thingy. ALL other stats (non primary) hard cap at 1200 so anything above that is not needed. And as Boli said even with basic gear choices its pretty easy to get at cap for sta or close to it. And in any raid situation you are generally well over cap (and possibly near cap on agi) from buffs. |

![]() For extra fun, keep in mind that although they made these sweeping changes to how stats worked for the various classes, they didn't go back and "fix" class/set gear and class specific items from previous expansions. So at the lower tiers you'll still find Paladin gear with lots of WIS and INT on it. Welcome back to playing a warrior with gimped heals -- yeah, yeah, they're looking at fixing our broken heals "real soon" now, just as soon as they get done turning Guardians into the new Shadowknights of this expansion. I'm simply breathless with anticipation. |
