![]() Greetings all, I am looking for a good Macro for Jester's Cap. I've been looking around on the web and i havn't found any decent troubador site. Those that are around are all hoplesly outdated. Also i do not use and mods and play the game like it is. I'm old school. So? is there a decent macro for Jcap out there? I really like to see how other bards have their macro's. Sincerly, Moonflake the Troubador, Runnyeye server. |

/useabilityonrt Jester's Cap/rt JC Incoming , Will use the ability on the last person to send you a tell and send a tell back, just ask people to shoot a tell when they want it for a timer, otherwise, just multiple hotbar spots for common targets |

![]() This is what I use on my alt trouby: 5 macro's to set your targets: /alias Jcap1:useabilityontarget %t Jester's Cap /alias Jcap2:useabilityontarget %t Jester's Cap /alias Jcap3:useabilityontarget %t Jester's Cap /alias Jcap4:useabilityontarget %t Jester's Cap /alias Jcap5:useabilityontarget %t Jester's Cap And 1 macro to cast it: /useabilityontarget [yourownname] Jester's Cap /Jcap1 /Jcap2 /Jcap3 /Jcap4 /Jcap5 That will cast Jcap on the first person of your target list who isn't imune, while you don't have to edit your macro every time your group changes. |

![]() Anymore help please on how exactly to make these macros ? My attempt with the first macro is that is just cast Jcap on whoever i target . My attempt on the second macro is fill in my own name or between [ ] ? I would love it if anybody would post the two pictures on both macros how to fill them in exactly. You be my hero if you able to do that. /hug |

Moonflake, go in game open up social window (O), goto macro tab. Input name of macro set icon, and then from the dropdown choose "command" and hit add button. Now add the line "/alias Jcap1:useabilityontarget %t Jester's Cap" and hit save. Open up another macro and do the same as above but, add 2 command and on each line put the following.Line1: /useabilityontarget [yourownname] Jester's CapLine2: /Jcap1Hit save. Now to setup to where you can use Jcap1, you have to target someone other than yourself and press the macro. Then after that is set all you have to do is press the second macro. That is all you must do to setup the macros. I hope this helped. |

![]() the best way to use jcap is to ask people to send you tells or ask them when they usually require jcap and always hit them with it at the same time ie. 10 seconds into a fight, on pull or 5 seconds before or something. the spam macros are pretty craptastic tbh.. nothing more annoyning they getting hit with jcap when the mob is at 2% /wrist |

^^^ THIS!! Reply macro's are MUCH more efficient than spam macros. How do you know when someone is going to be casting their long reuse big nukes? You don't, so let them tell you.. I have a Jcap macro on my coercer(that I never use anymore since I'm practically reuse cap'd), but it sent a "Jcap Please" tell to every troub in the guild(which garnered some funny responses when one was sitting). |

That's not quite gonna help you use mana flow to the fullest as a coercer. What you'd want to do is have 4 macro's, one for each group, with 6 of these in each macro: /useabilityonplayer rXX "Mana Flow" Where XX is 1-6 for group 1, 7-12 for group 2, 13-18 for group 3, and 19-24 for group 4.

Wait, so you are saying rXX after useabilityonplayer will cast it on that specific raid spot? |

Yes. /usabilityonplayer r12 will cast it on the 12th raid slot (the last member in G2). You can also use g1-g5 for group members. |

Thanks, so all I need is 4 macro's since Mana Flow is groupwide. /useabilityonplayer r1 Mana Flow /useabilityonplayer r7 Mana Flow /useabilityonplayer r13 Mana Flow /useabilityonplayer r19 Mana Flow and this will allow me to cast them on each raid group correct? |
